It has become a basic means of survival and necessary skill in the information society to quickly and accurately identify and obtain,as well as scientifically evaluate and effectively utilize effective information in the mass information resources.Therefore,how to cultivate and improve the information quality of contemporary undergraduates has become one of the important parts that cannot be ignored in strengthening the comprehensive quality of undergraduates and promoting their all-round development in higher education.In the past decades,colleges and universities have actively explored and made great progress in cultivating students' abilities to collect and process information,and to analyze and solve problems.However,the overall information quality of undergraduates in China is still low for the weak management of education departments,insufficient achievement means of teaching objectives and effectiveness detection means,as well as deficient evaluation index system of corresponding information quality.This paper adopts literature method and empirical survey method to conduct case study on Information quality-oriented education of student in G University,combing and analyzing research literature at home and abroad,and prepares questionnaire of student information quality in G University.After knowing about students' information awareness,information ability,information ethics and information security in G University,the author analyzes the main problems,which are weak awareness of Information quality-oriented education and teacher resources,outdated educational content,unitary teaching method,and backward information resources.Through the analysis of its causes,it is mainly due to the lack of an atmosphere of Information quality-oriented education,unclear educational goals,unreasonable curriculum,lack of corresponding assessment methods,and weak self-management ability of college students.The author finally points out the necessity and feasibility of introducing goal management into the traditional field of Information quality-oriented education for college students,and put forward specific countermeasures and suggestions.That is to say,through the establishment of the target system for the college students' Information quality-oriented education,the management of the target implementation process,and the evaluation of the target results to avoids many problems of Information quality-oriented education for undergraduates so as to improve the Information quality-oriented education level of college students and the comprehensive information quality of undergraduates.
