The current performance appraisal system of compulsory education schools in our country is ten years from now,which can not adapt to the current development of education and teaching.On the one hand,the implementation of performance appraisal is to manage teachers well,provide important basis for professional title evaluation and employment and performance salary distribution,on the other hand,it is to build an excellent team of teachers and encourage teachers to work more actively and effectively.This paper takes the performance appraisal model of the public primary school teachers in Jinping District of Shantou City as an example,focusing on 360-degree performance feedback as the theoretical basis,collecting relevant information through literature research,distributing questionnaires to the teachers of the public primary school in Jinping District of Shantou City and collecting relevant information through investigation and research,and interviewing some teachers of the A primary school in Jinping District of Shantou City and collecting relevant information through interview and research.To understand the current situation of performance appraisal of public primary school teachers in Jinping District of Shantou City,find out the existing problems,analyze the causes of the problems,and put forward countermeasures or suggestions to improve the performance appraisal of public primary school teachers in Shantou City.This paper finds that there are many problems in performance appraisal system,such as too single appraisal subject,unreasonable appraisal index system,unreasonable appraisal method,imperfect appraisal feedback mechanism and ineffective application of appraisal results.And the reasons for the existing problems are analyzed: school managers lack the concept of performance appraisal,the formulation and implementation of performance appraisal program is not democratic,and the supervision and management mechanism of performance appraisal is not perfect.Based on the analysis of the existing problems and causes,it is suggested that the performance appraisal system should be established scientifically,the performance appraisal framework should be improved,the performance appraisal index system and the performance appraisal management mechanism should be reasonably established,the diversified performance appraisal method system should be established,and the feedback mechanism and the application mechanism of the appraisal results should be established and improved.
