In nowadays society,Information Technology(IT)has been used for many aspects of human lives.In the education area,research articles that are dedicated to the application of IT approaches in the teaching process of different subjects have kept showing up for many years,in which the IT approaches range from the old-time devices,such as the Slides,IWB and Remote answering machine,to the cutting-edge panel computers like Ipads.However,after introducing such advanced IT approaches,nowadays the majority of the modes for teaching lessons are still traditional in which few interaction exists between teacher and students.In order to fully develop the advantages of IT approaches,improve the effects of students listing classes and enhance their enthusiasm and initiative for study,it is important to investigate the interaction between teacher and students as well as the feedback from students.This paper is based on the teaching scenario of middle-school physics and investigates the effects of using Ipads on the teacher-student interaction and students' feedback.The research focuses more on the degree of students taking part in the class since it is believed that students play the dominant role in study.The contents of research mainly include:Analyzing the current situations and existing problems of teacher-student interaction and students' feedback for today's middle-school physics teaching with the help of literature review and questionnaire from actual teaching.Comparing the situations of teacher-student interaction and students' feedback in a digital-experimental class that use Ipads with those in a common class that does not use any IT approach.Analyzing and comparing the effects of teaching five different knowledge areas of middle-school physics with Ipads,i.e.Force,Heat,Sound,Light and Electricity,on the teacher-student interaction and students' feedback.The research results show that the teacher-student interaction is more diverse in the digital-experimental class than in the common class.Students in the digital-experimental class show more initiative for participating the class and provide better grades than those in the common class.But for knowledge areas whose teaching requirements are different,using Ipads can lead to different effects on students' feedback.For knowledge areas required to be memorized and understood,teaching with Ipads can enhance the effects of students' feedback,whereas for knowledge areas required for practical application,Ipads are not better than traditional approaches for enhancing the effects of students' feedback.Therefore,only by properly arranging the use of Ipads according to the teaching content can we make the best of the effect of teacher-student interaction and students' feedback,and improve students 'mastery of knowledge,as well as the students' study initiative and the knowledge depth ponder.
