As “Regular High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017 edition)” issued,chemistry subject core competencies have become the value pursuit of chemistry education and ideal of education for many educators.Meanwhile as a comprehensive ability or trait,it really makes a difference in students' further development.So how to evaluate students' Chemistry Subject Core Competencies becomes a question that is urged to be solved.This study selects high school students as research objects,focus on theoretical and application research of constructing chemistry subject core competencies evaluation system,the main study process and conclusions are as follows:Firstly,dividing chemistry subject core competencies into three parts on the basis of analyzing relative study: chemistry subject thinking,chemistry subject practice and chemistry subject value.Then constructing grade one evaluation indexes based on chemistry subject thinking,chemistry subject practice and chemistry subject value.At last constructing grade two evaluation indexes in detail on the basis of analyzing the five parts of chemistry compulsory curriculum and students' competencies behaviors.Secondly,developing evaluation tools based on the chemistry subject core competencies evaluation system.Using the evaluation tools to evaluate sample students' development of chemistry subject core competencies,which was selected randomly at one of a high school in Hubei province.Analyzing students' competencies behaviors based on students' answers.The study found that the sample students' chemistry subject core competencies are at a relatively low level.Thirdly,after evaluating students' competencies behaviors on chemistry subject thinking,chemistry subject practice and chemistry subject value separately,the study found theses: as for chemistry object thinking,students behave well in knowledge understanding and knowledge applying but behave worse in problem solving;as for chemistry object practice,students' practice intention are relatively high while students' consciousness of innovation and practice ability are relatively low;as for chemistry subject value,most of the students behave well.Finally,the study offered the teaching and evaluating suggestions aiming at chemistry subject core competencies according to the research conclusions,and pointed the weakness and improvements of the study.
