Although more and more informal learning Spaces have emerged on modern university campuses,formal learning Spaces such as classrooms are still the main places for learning.When the knowledge production Pattern evolves from Pattern I to Pattern II and Pattern III,the learning space as a condition for knowledge production and dissemination requires corresponding changes.The Horizon Report(Higher Education Edition)emphasizes the importance of "redesigning the learning space" in the field of higher education for six consecutive years.Learning space is bound to undergo changes.What kind of changes should theoretically be made in learning spaces? What kind of changes is the actual learning space undergoing?This study takes a case of an education college of a provincial normal university established in the 1950 s,using qualitative research methods such as observation and interviews to explore the basic Pattern of the university 's existing formal learning space reform,and describe the process of interaction between knowledge production,formal learning space,and learning behavior.The thesis is mainly divided into the following four parts: Part I: Introduction.This part Submitting questions,and further focus on the issues based on collating relevant literature on knowledge production and learning spaces: How has the university 's formal learning space changed during the process of knowledge production transformation?The second part: Theoretical analysis.The transformation of knowledge production Pattern puts forward the new requirement of learning space transformation.Looking back at history,we can see that there are differences in the foundation,subject,and purpose of knowledge production at different stages of knowledge development.The development of these knowledge production factors promotes the change of knowledge production Pattern.As the Pattern of knowledge production changes from Pattern 1 to Pattern 2 and Pattern 3,universities with knowledge production and communication as their main functions call for more Pattern II learning spaces and Pattern III learning spaces.The third part: Practice survey.The changing formal learning space in universities.The knowledge production of pedagogy is undergoing a transition from Pattern 1 to Pattern 2 and 3.What is the change in the corresponding formal learning space of the university in reality? After investigation and statistics,it is found that the School of Education of S University currently focuses on the fixed Pattern ? formal learning space,the flexible Pattern ? formal learning space is limited in number,and the active Pattern ? formal space is in urgent need of development.In the process of change,the existing space has shown a trend of changing from Pattern I to Pattern II and III formal learning spaces.The space layout has gradually changed from closed to open.The elements in the space are constantly integrated and optimized.In order to keep up with the transformation of the knowledge production Pattern,universities need to vigorously develop Pattern II and Pattern III formal learning spaces.Fourth part: This paper summarizes the formal learning space reform pattern of S University school of Education,and discusses the general characteristics and rules of the formal learning space reform.From the perspective of knowledge production Pattern transformation,the basic Pattern of the learning space reform of the School of Education of S University is the collaborative reform of multiple elements.The main ways of reform are the innovation of the physical environment and the transformation of the existing space.The innovation of the physical environment reflects the universality of the reform of the university learning space during the transformation of the knowledge production Pattern,and the transformation of the existing space reflects the particularity of the reform of the learning space of the college.Based on this case,in order to better respond to the transformation of the knowledge productionPattern,universities need to plan and organize the construction of new spaces under the guidance of innovative learning and student-centered concepts.
