| In the modern society with intensified social differentiation and enhanced mobility,there is a strong anonymity and uncertainty in social interaction.In order to reduce the cost of communication,individuals have to trust most people in society.Therefore,the study of generalized trust has been widely concerned by the academic community.In order to further explore the influence of personal characteristics on general trust,this study is based on the logical analysis of the theory of "personal capital" based on trust,starting from the reality of our country,to explore the applicability of the theory in China and analyze it.As far as China's reality is concerned,there are great differences between urban and rural areas in terms of economic situation,cultural background and institutional environment.These differences make the individual members living in them also show different choices in interpersonal trust.This study starts with the current situation of generalized trust of urban and rural residents in China.While discussing the influencing factors of generalized trust,it focuses on the influence of education level,income level and social class level.Through interaction,this paper explores the influence of individual economic factors on generalized trust under this conditional effect,and investigates the differences between urban and rural areas.This study uses the data of 2015 China social comprehensive questionnaire,through descriptive statistical analysis,contingency table analysis and binary logit regression analysis,to explore the generalized trust level of urban and rural residents in China and its influencing factors.The findings are as follows: 1.The generalized trust level of Chinese residents is in the upper middle level,and the generalized trust level of rural residents is higher than that of urban residents.2.When other factors remain unchanged,the variables concerned in this paper-education,personal income,social class level-have significant correlation with generalized trust.Specifically,education and generalized trust are āUā correlation;personal income and social class level are positively correlated with generalized trust.3.The impact of income on generalized trust is different between urban and rural areas,and the impact of rural residents on generalized trust in personal income is greater than that of urban residents. |
