A Practical Study On The Introduction Of Miao Ballads Into Music Classes In Primary Schools

China is a multi-ethnic country,each nation has its own traditional art and culture.During the long course of the historical development of our civilization for thousands of years,these traditional arts and cultures become more various,distinctive with its unique significance.The national folk music,which can be called the treasure of our national culture,is one of the spiritual driving forces for the continuing development of our country.There are 56 nationalities in our country,26 ethnic minorities are bred in this ancient and mysterious land of Yunnan.Miao is not only one of the oldest ethnic minorities in the world,but also one of the oldest ethnic minorities in Chinese history.During the long history,they have created their own unique and distinct national traditional culture and art.Miao ballads are not only an important part of Miao traditional culture and art,but also a bright spot of our traditional culture and art.However,in my years of primary music teaching,I found that many Miao students in this region cannot sing their ballads,some Miao descendants even cannot speak their own national language.I am one of the brothers and sisters of Miao nationality,and also a primary music teacher who has been in the front line for many years.In recent years,I have been devoting myself to collecting Miao ballads.I clearly recognized that schools are important carrier of traditional art and culture,and play a decisive role in the inheritance of music culture.In order to carry forward and inherit Miao musical culture,the author will introduce Miao ballads into primary school,and hopes to achieve good results through these practices.Therefore,the author regards this research as the topic of the graduation thesis.This paper will explore the relationship between the inheritance of national culture and education,the cultural connotation,artistic value,types and characteristics of Miao ballads in Fumin County,Yunnan Province,the significance of introducing music classes in primary schools,and the educational paths,strategies and methods of introducing them into music classes in primary schools.Hopefully through the research and analysis,more people will have a better understanding of Miao ballads.Miao ballads can be inherited and developed in the younger generation as well as enriching the music curriculum in primary schools.The author also hopes that this paper can play a positive role in inheriting and promoting excellent Miao ballads.
