As a new teaching tool,concept map provides a new way for composition teaching.Although scholars at home and abroad have gradually studied the application of concept maps in teaching of different subjects,only a few studies on the application of concept maps in the teaching of composition have been done.Therefore,the author tries to find out through this research how teachers understand and apply concept map in composition teaching,what problems exist in the application of concept map in composition teaching,and how to solve the problems in the application of concept map in composition teaching.Based on the existing research results,the author used literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and content analysis method to conduct research.Firstly,the author collected and sorted out the literature related to concept map,understood the theory and current situation of concept map in teaching application,and then expounded the connotation,structure,characteristics,drawing process and theoretical basis of concept map.Secondly,the author designed the framework of teachers' questionnaire and students' questionnaire,teachers' interview outline and students' interview outline and content analysis,and investigated the teachers and students who applied concept map in the composition class.Then,through the analysis of the survey data,the interview content and the students' concept map and the composition,the paper finds out several problems in the application of concept map in the composition teaching of senior grade in primary school,and discusses them from the perspectives of teachers and students.Then,the author analyzes the causes of the problems from three aspects: schools,teachers and students.Finally,based on the results of the survey,some Suggestions are put forward to make teachers use concept map more effectively in composition teaching.To deepen the understanding of concept map,organize off-campus experts to conduct training and build a research platform for concept map.Strengthen the discussion of the teaching team,and increase the promotion of concept map;Encourage teachers to take the initiative to learn and increase their knowledge of concept map.In the optimization of the concept of the use of the design,show the concept map,the topic of the composition;Using concept map to interpret composition requirements;Provide concept maps to inspire students to draw;Select concept map and organize group cooperation;Use concept map to guide students to write;Evaluate the students' composition according to the concept map.In the aspect of strengthening the instruction of concept map study,strengthening students' understanding of concept map;Enhance students' ability to draw concept maps;To cultivate students' habit of using concept map writing;Guide the students to integrate the concept map with the composition.In terms of strengthening the evaluation of concept map application,the evaluation standard of concept map is constructed.Emphasis on the evaluation subject of multivariate concept map;Focus on different concept map evaluation results.
