Geography chart has always been a very important teaching tool and learning object in geography teaching. It is of great significance for teachers to choose and present geographic charts in a way that students can understand and extract information from the charts. This paper focuses on the study and observation of the selection of high school geography teachers' charts and the presentation of information, finds out the problems of teachers' selection and presentation of geographical charts, and puts forward and summarizes effective teaching strategies for the selection and presentation of geographical charts.Through reading a large number of literature, combing the research results at home and abroad,to define the concept,to provide a theoretical basis for this study.According to the design principles of the classroom observation scale, reading a lot of literature and conducting expert interviews, determining the evaluation index of the classroom observation scale, designing the classroom observation scale, modifying the observation scale through the pre experiment of three classes, and finally determining the classroom observation scale.Based on the construction of the scale, this paper analyzes the classroom observation and analysis of 10 lessons, respectively from the behavior of map selection and presentation. It is found that geography teachers have a single source and lack of authority in map selection, low definition of the chart, unable to correspond to the teaching objectives of the chart, too many single types of chart, the existence of false pictures, scientific pictures and image quality needs Problems to be improved;in presentation behavior, multimedia presentation uses a single means, mostly static presentation, simultaneous presentation of many chart elements, lack of encircling(drawing)and labeling of important information, uncertain time of presentation and drawing collection,no secondary processing or error in secondary processing of charts, and no or unskilled use of the software for processing charts.According to the problems found in the later stage of the design of teacher questionnaire, combined with interviews with teachers to analyze the causes of the problems: lack of theoretical knowledge, lack of teaching reflection;backward technical level, lack of relevant training;theory and practice disconnect, poor practical ability;lack of image teaching literacy, lack of in-depth exploration;teachers' professional development is relatively closed, hindering the expansion of teaching ideas;proportion of teachers at the beginning of Vocational Education It is difficult to give consideration to both management and teaching work, and corresponding improvement strategies are put forward: expand teaching theory and enhance image awareness;select geographical charts to overcome the "fetching doctrine";create real situations to stimulate learning interest;dynamically present charts and pay attention to chart levels;simplify charts and make use of layer superposition;select the right time to present charts and collect charts;pay attention to training delivery Flow, improve processing chart technology.
