The relationship between the government and universities can be said to be an eternal issue in the development of higher education at home and abroad.It is a contradictory relationship that has existed in the running of universities since the birth of medieval universities.Although compared with the period from 2009 to 2013,the current academic academia's focus on the research topic of university administration has weakened,but it is undeniable that universities are still facing the real situation of administration.Under the background that China is striving to build first-class disciplines,first-class universities and the development of higher education connotation,the development of colleges and universities is facing a major turning point.Therefore,it is appropriate and urgent to study the problem of university administration.There is no lack of in-depth research on the subject of university administration,but there is an obvious tendency for such research,that is,most of the research is based on the subjective experience and perception of researchers,and the research methods are mostly carried out by speculative research methods.It is undeniable that the researcher's personal experience and perception of the research theme is crucial to the development of the research,However,its research conclusions will inevitably be mixed with the subjective value judgment of researchers,lack of certain rational knowledge and objective basis.Therefore,it is necessary for us to make more objective and rational choices in the research method of university administrative research,and to conduct a more specific,microscopic and in-depth analysis from the research perspective.Based on the theory of mass communication,each information release on the official website of the university has been carefully screened and arranged by the news“gatekeepers”.The number of information releases and the location of the information release can reflect the value tendency of the university to specific information content;The content of the university's official website will affect the audience's value tendency and even behavior choices.Based on this,the thesis will use the content analysis method and empirical analysis method to explore the potential representation forms of university administration from the perspective of the content of the official website of 215 universities in northeast China(Liaoning Province,Heilongjiang Province and Jilin Province).The thesis is based on the content analysis and empirical analysis of the official website of 215 colleges and universities in Northeast China.The characterization of the administration of colleges and universities in Northeast China mainly includes: The administrative organization is numerous and complicated;The utilitarian and performance-oriented management is serious;The independent decision-making of running a school and management is limited.Secondly,the thesis further analyzes the shortcomings of college administration through semi-structured interviews.The results show that administration weakens the operation and development efficiency of colleges and universities;It leads to the misalignment of academic values in colleges and universities;It leads to the homogeneity of college development.Finally,the thesis proposes to seek a specific path for the proper administrative development of colleges and universities under the adjustment direction of a clear boundary between the government and colleges and universities.
