In the study of senior middle school,the sequence appears as a special function,which is an important content of mathematics study of high school students.Because the sequence itself has characteristics of order and different regularity,and is closely related to functions,the concept of the sequence is more abstract and the symbols of the sequence are not easily learned by students.In addition,there are many formulas and properties of sequence,and the operation of series is complex,which leads to barriers for students to learn and master it.Inquiring about the obstacles that students have when learning series and the causes of series learning obstacles,and finding the corresponding solutions are the key to helping students eliminate series learning obstacles and improve their mathematical ability and academic performance.In this study,first of all,under the premise of normal individual intelligence and equal education,mathematics learning disabilities are defined as the situation that students' academic level and intelligence are significantly different due to their own factors,which is specifically manifested as mathematics learning difficulties and poor performance.Secondly,by using the method of literature analysis,the concept,classification and diagnosis mode of mathematical learning disabilities are comprehensively analyzed,and the operational definition of mathematical learning disabilities in this paper is determined.On this basis,two students are selected as the research object according to the operational definition.After that,the causes of the series learning obstacles of the cases were analyzed through classroom observation and testing,and the questionnaire method and the interviews were used to analyze the causes of the series learning obstacles of the students.In the end,according to the problems and causes of individual cases in sequence learning,combined with the sequence knowledge,a targeted solution strategy was developed,and the case was guided for two months.The case students' sequence learning obstacles were effectively solved.Through theoretical analysis and case studies,it is found that high school students have emotional obstacles in the process of sequence learning,obstacles in understanding sequence concepts,obstacles in sequence calculations,obstacles in applying sequence formulas and properties,and obstacles in applying sequence thinking methods.
