At present,the whole book reading has been generally valued by Chinese educators,but the whole book reading teaching is lack of complete curriculum construction,students and teachers can not pay enough attention to the whole book reading due to the objective conditions.In this case,the emergence of mind mapping makes the whole book reading teaching see the dawn.Mind mapping simulates the whole process of thinking,which can help the brain to better understand and imagine,so as to improve students' reading efficiency,help students form divergent thinking,and then stimulate students' interest in reading.The research results of mind map in Chinese Reading Teaching in junior middle school are rich,but there are few researches on the application of mind map in reading teaching of the whole book.Moreover,in this limited research materials,it mostly stays in the superficial forms such as memory and combing of the whole book reading,lacking the Research on the connotation and significance of the work.This paper focuses on the advantages of mind map in the whole book reading teaching by using the methods of literature research,interview and case analysis.Combined with the implementation strategies of the whole book reading teaching in junior high school,it explores the implementation strategies of mind map in the whole book reading teaching.The author divides the whole book reading teaching into three literary genres: fiction,popular science and documentary,and explores the teaching implementation strategies of mind map applied to the three genres respectively.Taking the whole book reading teaching of Jane Eyre as an example,the author expounds how the mind map is applied to the whole book reading teaching.The author tries to apply the mind map to the whole book reading teaching,to provide a new way for teachers to teach the whole book reading,and to guide students how to use the mind map to improve reading efficiency and develop logical thinking according to different literary genres.Let students learn to draw mind map,improve students' reading ability,so as to improve students' interest in reading the whole book.The use of mind map provides a new way of thinking for teaching,improves students' reading efficiency and stimulates students' interest in reading at the same time.But mind map is not "golden oil".Students can't draw mind map for the whole book reading of all genres.Teachers should analyze specific problems in the actual reading teaching process.
