As early as 1942,Ye Shengtao put forward the importance of reading the entire book.The Standards for General Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the "New Curriculum Standard")also set the learning task of "reading and discussing entire books" The whole book reading plays an important role in improving students' reading ability and core Chinese language literacy.More and more Chinese education researchers have begun to explore how the whole book reading should be carried out to realize its maximum value.In recent years,mind maps,as an effective tool for processing information and divergent thinking,are being used more and more widely in subject teaching.In Chinese,mind maps are an effective tool for students to read.However,there are few studies on the application of maps in the teaching of reading a whole book of high school Chinese.In view of this,this study focuses on exploring the application of mind mapping in the teaching of reading a whole book of high school Chinese.This article mainly researches from the following four parts.The first part mainly expounds the origin and significance of this topic,the research status,and research methods.The second part mainly explains the relevant aspects of mind maps and the teaching of high school Chinese whole book reading,including the relevant overview of the mind maps and high school Chinese whole book reading teaching.Analyze the feasibility and significance of reading teaching.The third part mainly analyzes the current situation of the use of mind maps in the reading teaching of the entire high school Chinese book,and summarizes the problems that students and teachers have when using mind maps.The fourth part mainly studies the application strategies of mind maps in the teaching of the whole book of high school Chinese.It puts forward countermeasures for teachers and students when using mind maps,and uses Ba Jin's novel "Home" as an example to illustrate the mind maps.The specific application of pictures in the reading,introduction,reading,and development stages of the whole book reading instruction in high school Chinese.
