Research On The Practical Problems And Countermeasures Of Carrying Out The Fundamental Task Of "Fostoring Character And Civic Virtue" In Colleges And Universities

The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has sounded the bugle call for us to “regard the fostoring character and civic virtue as the fundamental task of education”.This is the first time to clearly put forward the concept of“fostoring character and civic vitue”,which reveals the priority of moral education in higher education,and the essence of higher education is to educate people,which is a major theoretical innovation in the party's educational policy in the report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.In the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it further stressed that “we should fully implement the party's educational policy and carry out the fundamental task of fostoring character and civic virtue”.This is based on the education and the culture macroscopic Angle to the moral education research science control and the effective implementation.As the main position of the university,it is necessary to deeply consider the historical background,scientific connotation and important significance of the university in the context of comprehensive education,actively explore the problems faced by the university and the corresponding countermeasures,and fully implement the fundamental task of “fostoring character and civic vitue”from the theoretical and practical aspects.The article consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction is mainly about the background and significance of the topic,research status,methods,innovation and shortcomings of the paper.In the text,there are mainly three parts.The first part mainly studies the theoretical basis,objective requirements and important significance of the “fostoring character and civic virtue”in colleges and universities.The second part discusses the colleges and universities to carry out the “fostoring character and civic virtue” realistic problems and causes,sums up the colleges and universities from five aspects of “fostoring character and civic virtue” realistic problems existing,respectively is some deviation from leading in the direction of fostoring character and civic vitue,teachers subject on fostoring character and civic vitue' effectiveness have weaked,teaching mode innovation isinsufficient,lacking of moral education environment optimization,and college students' main body cognitive behavior and disconnect.The specific reasons are the imperfect coordination of organization and leadership,the urgent need to improve the quality of teachers,the limitations of traditional teaching mode,the complexity of campus cultural environment,and the vulnerability of college students' attitudes.The third part is the countermeasures of implementing the fundamental task of “fostoring character and civic virtue”.This is the focus of this paper,this chapter from five dimensions to discuss the realization of the fundamental task of “fostoring character and civic virtue” in colleges and universities: improve and perfect the leadership system and working mechanism,strengthen the construction of college teachers,give play to the important role of curriculum education,optimize the moral environment of colleges and universities,and improve college students' self-education ability.In the conclusion,this paper makes a systematic summary,puts forward the difficulties and shortcomings in the process of writing,and makes a prospect for the future research.
