Improving the effectiveness of the ideological and political courses has always been the top priority of the ideological and political education of youth.On March 18,2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping hosted a seminar for teachers of the school's ideological and political theory course.At the meeting,Xi emphasized the role of heuristic teaching in ideological and political courses.Based on this discussion,the specific application of heuristic teaching in high school ideological and political courses is of great significance for improving the effectiveness of high school ideological and political courses.To this end,the author comprehensively used a variety of research methods and comprehensively explored the application of heuristic teaching in the teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools.This article is mainly composed of five parts.The first part is the introduction part,which mainly explains the research background,research value,literature review,research methods and innovation of the article.The second part is an overview of heuristic teaching,it includes the connotation,characteristics and theoretical basis of heuristic teaching.In the third part,the author integrates the content of the 2017 new curriculum standards and the spirit of the symposium speech into the article.The author discusses the necessity and feasibility of the application of heuristic teaching in high school ideological and political courses from the perspectives of curriculum reform,quality education,and core literacy.The fourth part mainly discusses the problems and causes of heuristic teaching in the application of high school ideological and political courses.The fifth part discusses the strategy of heuristic teaching.The innovations include refining the connotation of the principles to be implemented in heuristic teaching,and the strategy of combining the new teaching mode with heuristic teaching.Through the discussion of these contents,this paper hopes to provide help for the front-line teachers.And this article also hopes to provide help for the application of heuristic teaching in high school ideological and political courses.
