Cheerleading is a new sports art project with the trend of globalization in sports.The General Administration of sport of China encourages the development of cheerleading and advocates the training of cheerleading coaches and the establishment of cheerleading teams in schools.Although the cheerleading sport in Chengdu is also developing rapidly,the number and quality of cheerleading coaches in Chengdu can not meet the needs of all parties in the market.To carry out the training of cheerleading coaches in Chengdu is an effective way to promote the rapid popularization and development of cheerleading in Chengdu.Taking the route of cheerleading coach training in Chengdu as the research object,combined with practical experience of researchers during many years of training and participation in world competitions,using questionnaire survey,on-the-spot investigation,comparative analysis,expert in-depth interview and other research methods,the operation management mode,qualification certification system,training content and current situation of participants of cheerleading coach training in Chengdu in 2017-2019 are studied to figure out the effective way of cheerleading coach training in Chengdu.The main conclusions are as follows: in recent years,although the main operation and management mode and coach qualification certification system of Chengdu cheerleading coach training market are more systematic and standardized,there are still deficiencies in the training content,classroom management system,assessment system,etc;This paper studies the basic characteristics,current situation,professional ability,practical experience,specific needs,benefit degree and self-efficacy of the trained coaches and instructors in Chengdu cheerleading training.It is found that the training of Cheerleading Coaches in Chengdu has a high degree of benefit to the trainees,and their qualification certificates have certain industry effectiveness in the society,but there is still a large space for improvement;The trainees are mainly in school students,PE teachers and full-time cheerleaders coaches.The ratio of male to female is 1:3.2,which is unbalanced,with weak theoretical basis,scientific research level,working years,team leading experience and teaching experience to be improved;the financial support of trainees' units for their participation is not high;The training instructors have rich teaching experience and strong teaching ability,however,the proportion of teachers and students in the training class is 1:25,which is too large and the mobility of instructors is not strong;the “soft power” of Chengdu cheerleading coach training culture needs to be further improved;the development of Chengdu cheerleading coach training needs to be improvedfrom the aspects of training market,individual,school,government,etc;through the development of cheerleading coach craining,it is conducive to the promotion of quality education in China;under the background of “one school,one ball and one cheer”,developing the training of cheerleading coaches in Chengdu is an important factor to promote the development of cheerleading in various schools.Finally,put forward the corresponding countermeasures to the deficiencies of Chengdu cheerleading coach training,further improve the development path of Chengdu cheerleading coach training,provide reference and reference for the rapid popularization and promotion of China's cheerleading coach training.
