The cultivation of higher-order thinking is a hot spot in current educational research.From the 1978 syllabus,the "knowledge-based" teaching goal was proposed to train students to "double base",to the 2003 curriculum standards,three-dimensional goals,and to the core discipline literacy in 2017.From "knowledge" to gradually focusing on critical thinking and creative thinking,it is obvious that the country attaches much importance to the cultivation of higher-order thinking.As a prospective teacher who is about to stand on the podium,the author believes that it is worth studying on cultivating students' higher-order thinking in teaching.Therefore,based on previous research,the author designed a step-by-step "question chain" teaching model,and improved the design of the "question chain" by using mechanical concept tests and Bloom's target taxonomy.The method of teaching experiment is used to explore whether the "question chain" based on higher-order thinking can promote students' higher-order thinking and physic achievement.From September 2019 to January 2020,the author practiced in a national demonstration general high school.The author took advantage of the internship to conduct teaching experiments,setting up an experimental group and a control group between two paralleled classes.The author taught the experimental classes by using the "question chain" teaching,while conducted a regular teaching in the controlling group.Before and after the teaching experiment,the author used the critical-thinking temperament test,creative propensity test,and physics subject scores as a high-level thinking test for unified detection.After the experiment,the author compared the changes between the experimental group and the control group.The conclusion of the experiment is that the "question chain" can improve students' temperament of critical-thinking and the tendency of creativity.However,it has not achieved significant effects on the physics achivement.Therefore,the author puts forward suggestions for physics class:(1)The design of the "question chain" cannot be based on teaching experiences alone.Instead,the "question chain" should be designed with the help of a mechanical concept test scale and analysis of curriculum standards at different levels.(2)The physics teaching process can be based on students' understanding(summarization,inference,comparison,description),application(implementation),analysis,evaluation,and creation of hierarchical to design the "question chain" to cultivate students' higher-order thinking.(3)The questioning process should be paid more attention to the teaching rhythm,and the teacher should provide enough time for students to think deeply.
