The author found that there are many errors in Chinese characters writing among Mongolian elementary school beginners during the teaching process as a volunteer of Chinese teacher.The reasons behind this phenomena are worth studying.Regarding the fourth grade students of beginners in Putonghua middle school in Ulaanbaatar City,Mongolia as the research sample,the literature research,statistical induction,error analysis and comparative analysis are applied to this paper to analyze from three aspects,finds out the problems,analyzes the reasons and provides corresponding constructive suggestions.Firstly,the writing errors of Mongolian elementary school beginners are analyzed,especially foe the analysis of the writing errors of the fourth grade beginners in Putonghua middle school.The types of errors are mainly divided into six categories:stroke errors,component errors,structure errors,font splitting,typography and irregular characters.Secondly,according to the six types of errors which include stroke errors,component errors,structure errors,font splitting,typography,and nonstandard characters,this paper analyzes the Chinese and Mongolian characters,learners,teaching and teaching materials.There are similarities and differences between Chinese and Mongolian characters.The difference is that both Cyrillic Mongolian and Uighur Mongolian belong to Pinyin characters,while Chinese characters are square characters.The similarity is that the letters in Cyrillic Mongolian and Uighur Mongolian have parts similar to the parts in Chinese characters.The main problems of learners are the thinking and cognitive characteristics of primary school students and the lack of learning motivation and purpose.Primary school students are in the transition period from concrete image thinking to abstract thinking and the development stage of spatial perception,resulting in a large number of structural errors because of neglecting the observation of things.Moreover,primary school students lack clear learning motivation,and learn process is often unintentional.For teaching,it is mainly manifested in improper teaching arrangement and basic and single teaching method in the school,no separate Chinese character course in the school and the Chinese character course is arranged at the end of the Pinyin course.The Chinese character teaching is included in the comprehensive course and generally taught by local teachers;the Chinese character teaching methods are mainly tracing,imitating and copying.For teaching materials,the arrangement of teaching materials is not suitable for the teaching objects.The vocabulary of the first grade(I)of Chinese in the primary school of human education edition is too large for the elementary school students with zero level in Mongolia,and the after-school exercises are mainly word accumulation exercises,which lacks of targeted writing exercises.Finally,aiming at the problems of Chinese and Mongolian characters,learners,teaching and teaching materials,the paper puts forward constructive suggestions for the comparison and explanation of Chinese and Mongolian characters,emphases on students' personal differences,corrects students' attitudes and arouses students' enthusiasm,constantly improves teachers' teaching ability and teaching methods,carries out teacher training,learns from each other with local teachers,improves teaching materials and strengthens writing practice.
