With the growing ties and frequent exchanges between China and Thailand,the increasingly of Thais have begun to learn Chinese.Since the Thai Ministry of Education introduced Chinese into the language elective course of the educational system in 1980 s,according to incomplete statistics,the number of people learning Chinese in Thailand has reached nearly 900,000 now.However,due to different language backgrounds,students' Chinese character learning lags behind that of other linguistic elements in the process of learning Chinese,which affects the whole quality of Chinese learning.This paper takes the fourth grade Chinese learners in the fourth grade primary school of BAMRUNGWITTAYA SCHOOL as the research object,through the investigation and analysis of their Chinese character writing errors.In order to provide effective teaching strategies for Thai primary school students,this paper finds out the causes of the errors and puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the teaching of Chinese characters according to the causes of the errors.The beginning of the paper discusses the reason of this topic,the research content,the research status and research purpose and significance.In the first section of the thesis,191 Chinese learners in the fourth grade of primary school were investigated and analyzed in Chinese characters writing errors.This part is divided into three sections,The first section analyzes the teaching of Chinese in BAMRUNGWITTAYA SCHOOL;The second section introduced this investigation of Chinese character writing errors from four aspects: the source of corpus,the survey statistics,the principle of biased determination,and the results of survey statistics;The third section classifies the error corpus from the three levels of strokes,components,and structures,and performs ratio calculations and examples for each type of bias.In the second section,this paper analyzes the causes of Chinese character bias from Chinese and Thai text contrast,Chinese teachers,students and teaching materials.The third section of the thesis has put forward several suggestions and related teaching strategies in view of the causes of the second section bias.Firstly,In teaching focus,we should pay attention to " the characteristics of Chinese characters ".Secondly,aiming at the comparison of Chinese and Thai characters,we should make use of Thai characters to set up the ideographic meaning of Chinese characters and the concept of contrast between Chinese and Thai characters. We can also use the comparison of the number of Chinese and Thai basic writing symbols to overcome the fear of difficulties;Thirdly,Teachers should increase the interest of the classroom as much as possible;Fourthly,Teachers should use teaching materials rationally to achieve gradient teaching.The author designed the Chinese character teaching design for the first lesson to 5th lesson of "Chinese language 3 ",followed the principle of "taking the word as the outline,using the word into the word,using the word into the sentence".The key Chinese characters in each lesson are established and interesting teaching methods are designed for the reference of Chinese teachers who use the textbook.The last part of the paper is the conclusion,which makes a brief summary and points out the shortcomings of the research.
