The writing of Chinese characters is an indispensable part of written language expression,and it is also an indispensable part of second language teaching important content that can be ignored.However,at present,most Chinese teaching materials in Cambodian Chinese schools do not arrange special teaching on Chinese character writing in the teaching content,which is easy to be ignored by Chinese teachers in classroom teaching,resulting in foreign students' insufficient understanding of Chinese character writing,including Chinese character stroke order,Chinese character matching,Chinese character structure,etc.,and many Chinese character books appear in the process of written language expression Wrong writing.In this paper,the Chinese notes of the fourth grade students in Siem Reap public Zhongshan School in Cambodia is selected as the research object,and the data statistical analysis,questionnaire survey and other research methods are used,with the help of data,charts,example pictures and other forms,the errors of Chinese characters written by Cambodian students are investigated in all aspects.The errors are classified as stroke errors,stroke order errors,component errors,whole word errors.The errors in stroke mainly include the decrease of stroke,the increase of stroke and the deformation of stroke;the errors in component mainly include the absence of component,the increase of component,the collocation of component and the structure of component;the errors in whole word mainly include the errors in replacement of whole word and the errors in whole word.Finally,it analyzes the causes of the errors from the following aspects: the negative transfer of mother tongue,target language knowledge,learners' own factors,teachers' factors,teaching environment and so on.It includes not only the complexity of Chinese characters,but also the purpose,methods and will of students to learn Chinese characters,as well as the lack of teachers' teaching experience and the single teaching method,and the complexity and lack of teaching environment.Finally,according to the error situation and the reasons for the error,several targeted teaching suggestions are put forward,such as improving the initiative and enthusiasm of students in learning,improving the quality of teachers,improving teaching methods,and according to students cognitive ability reasonable arrangement of teaching materials,etc.,in order to provide some practical teaching strategies for Chinese character writing teaching in Cambodian Chinese international education teaching in the future.
