Online micro-course has focused on the construction of educational information resources and research due to its short and concise characteristics, which is widely used in education and teaching, with the development of Internet and online learning in recent years.Previous studies on the learning effect of online micro-course mainly used the traditional questionnaire for pre-and post-test,and paid little attention to the visual psychology of learners who could best reflect the learning process. This paper combined the construction of learning platform, eye movement experiment and questionnaire survey to explore whether the presentation of teacher's role in online micro-class would have an impact on learners' learning process and learning effectiveness,so as to provide ideas and references for the construction of teaching video resources and autonomous learning based on teaching video.Study 1 discussed the evaluation index of learners' online learning behavior of learners and compared the differences of learning behavior index between online micro-courses with and without teacher image. We created the WeChat public platform and named personality and health. The students majoring in applied psychology in this platform were divided into study class 1 and study class 2.The learning resources with and without teacher image along with the same content were pushed to the two classes synchronously, and organized a one-semester study of online micro-course.The data was collected from the WeChat public platform. The collection time window was from March 8,2019 to June 11,2019.A total of 10×96 data matrix was collected. The results showed that the extension and active reception of curriculum information can be used as the evaluation index of learning effectiveness, and there was no significant difference in the evaluation index of online learning behavior between online micro-courses with and without teacher image.Study 2 further explored the differences of cognitive processing characteristics and learning process between online micro-courses with and without teacher image by eye movement experiment.According to the purpose of the experiment, the hypotheses are :the social presence of online micro-course with teacher image is higher than that of online micro-course without teacher image;the cognitive load of online micro-coursewith teacher image is higher than that of online micro-course without teacher image;online micro-course with teacher image will reduce learners' attention to the learning content;the learning effectiveness of online micro-course without teacher image is better.36 subjects were randomly selected from the WeChat public platform and divided into 2 groups according to the ratio of male and female. There were 18 students in each group, including 12 boys and 18 girls. After the exception of 1 student who filled in the abnormal questionnaire and 5 students who recorded abnormal eye movement data, the remaining valid subjects were a total of 30,including 12 male students and 18 female students. The average age of the subjects was 24.267 years old(SD=1.721).The results showed that there was no significant difference in the social presence and cognitive load of the learners in the two kinds of micro-courses videos. In the micro-class video with the teacher image, the learners allocated more attention to the teacher image, thus reducing the attention to the PPT area. The learning effectiveness of online micro-course without teacher image was better.Combined with social presence theory, multimedia cognitive learning theory, cognitive load theory and data analysis in this study, the author draw the following conclusion: Firstly, the analysis of learners' online learning behaviors showed that the extended dissemination and active reception of curriculum information were the main characteristics of online learning behaviors, but there was no significant difference between learning materials with and without teacher images.Secondly, there was no significant difference in social presence and cognitive load between online micro-courses with and without teacher image.Thirdly, the application of eye movement research found that, during the online learning process, learners would give priority to the PPT area, but under the condition of teacher image, they would reduce the focus on the PPT area.
