In 2017,the Ministry of Education issued the Music Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(hereinafter referred to as the new Curriculum Standards).As the latest version of the music curriculum standards for senior high schools,it ADAPTS to the development and needs of the current era,puts forward many new teaching ideas and teaching concepts,and gives clear direction and guidance for music teaching in senior high schools.Therefore,taking the new curriculum standard as the research background,it is very necessary to investigate the current situation of music teaching in high school.The affiliated High School of Northwest Normal University(hereinafter referred to as the Affiliated High School of Northwest Normal University)is an epitome of regional high school teaching.It is quality-oriented,actively seeking change and constantly innovating,and has cultivated the top scorer in the provincial college entrance examination in literature and science.For the provincial key high schools in Gansu province,which mainly recruit students for cultural courses,the music teaching in the attached middle School of Northwest Normal University has also made remarkable achievements.During the internship in the attached Middle School of Northwest Normal University,the author conducted a detailed investigation on the music teaching under the new curriculum standard.Through the observation and classroom teaching practice of the school's music teaching,the author found that the attached middle School of Northwest Normal University has both great achievements and some shortcomings in the application of the new curriculum standard.Therefore,the author gives development Suggestions and improvement measures on its long-term and shortcomings,in order to look forward to a better development of music teaching in the affiliated middle school of Northwest Normal University.This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter one: Overview of the new curriculum standard.This paper discusses theconcept of the new curriculum standard and the changes of the new curriculum standard,and analyzes how to train students to learn music in high school music teaching from the ontology of the new curriculum standard.Chapter two: The investigation of the present situation of music teaching in the affiliated Middle School of Northwest Normal University.This paper discusses the current situation of music teaching in the affiliated middle School of Northwest Normal University from three aspects: basic information of music teaching,questionnaire of students and interview of music teachers.Chapter three: The advantages of music teaching in the attached middle School of Northwest Normal University under the new curriculum standard.According to the investigation results,this paper discusses the advantages of music teaching in the affiliated middle school of Northwest Normal University,and analyzes them from the support of school leaders and teachers' own efforts.Chapter four: Suggestions on music teaching in the Attached Middle School of Northwest Normal University under the new curriculum standard.This paper discusses the development and deficiency of the new curriculum standard in the attached middle school of Northwest Normal University,and puts forward some Suggestions and improvement measures for music teaching.
