Music basic theory knowledge,is all music major entry discipline.The study of basic music theory is the most basic and also very important.It is related to every student's future music development road,and plays an important role in improving students' cognition and understanding ability of music learning and promoting the formation of students' core quality of music discipline.In the 2017 edition of ordinary high school music curriculum standard,"Music Fundamental Theory" has also been included in the optional compulsory courses,which shows its importance.However,at present,there are still many problems in the teaching of basic music theory in high school.How to optimize the teaching of basic music theory and improve the degree of attention still needs to be explored by music teachers and education researchers.This paper is divided into four parts: The first part is the introduction,which discusses the research origin,research significance,core concepts,research status at home and abroad and research methods.The second part is the investigation of the status quo.Through the questionnaire survey and interview of the music teachers in the school where the researchers practiced,and the collection of the teaching cases related to the basic music theory,the investigation is carried out from the teaching instructors.After the teachers' survey,questionnaires were issued to students and the students who were the recipients of the teaching were investigated to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the problems existing in the teaching of the basic theory of high school music at the present stage.The third part analyzes and arranges on the basis of the investigation of the current situation,and finds the following problems in the teaching of the basic music theory at the present stage: the school does not pay enough attention to the teaching of the basic music theory,the lack of theoretical professional teachers and the teacher assessment mechanism is not standardized.The teachers' theoretical basis is weak,the teaching content of basic music theory is outdated and boring,they are not good at using modern teaching methods to assist teaching,lack of teaching integration with other music subjects,lack of teaching reflection and teaching content testing and other problems.In the aspect of students,there is a big difference in the foundation of students,students learning interest and motivation is insufficient.The fourth part puts forward the corresponding solutions based on the above problems.The countermeasures are as follows: the school should pay more attention to the basic music theory,ensure the teaching time and organize teaching resources reasonably.Teachers should also pay attention to the extension of basic music theory teaching and other music subjects,be good at using modern teaching methods to assist teaching,the combination of basic theoretical knowledge and practical teaching and other methods can also be improved by enhancing students' interest and initiative in learning.Through the above suggestions,strive to make a modest contribution to the teaching of high school music basic theory.
