Learning motivation and self-efficacy are the key indicators to evaluate students' willingness and effectiveness in the learning process.This paper investigates the learning motivation level and self-efficacy level of high school students with three different learning goal orientations--cultural examinees,specialty examinees and art examinees in music courses through questionnaires,and makes a comparison and analysis based on the survey results.Finally,it gives some teaching Suggestions based on the analysis results.According to the results of the study,through one-way ANOVA and independent sample T test,it can be concluded that the level of learning motivation of art examinees in three dimensions,including empowerment,success and interest,is lower than that of specialty examinees;the level of teachers' caring is the same as that of specialty examinees;only the level of usefulness is higher than that of specialty examinees.Art examinees in the learning sense of efficacy and performance sense of efficacy level are also lower than specialty examinees.At the same time,cultural examinees is the lowest level in all dimensions.Through correlation and regression analysis,it is concluded that learning duration and self-efficacy can significantly predict learning motivation,and self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role.Based on the above research results and in combination with the interviews with some teachers and students,this paper tries to give some Suggestions: protect the development of music courses,rationally view the path of art examination,and provide effective support for music teaching,so as to weaken the influence of exam-oriented atmosphere on music education.By attaching importance to teacher guidance,setting up reasonable learning objectives,building a music activity platform,creating interdisciplinary integration,and flexibly using multi-channel resources,the motivation level of students' music learning can be improved.To improve students' self-efficacy in music courses by making them masters of learning,giving them timely and effective evaluation and helping them achieve success.
