The Evolution Of Western Sports Behavior And Its Inspirations On Chinese Contemporary Sports Value Selection

With the economic development and social progress,people's social values tend to post-materialism which focuses more on self-development and self-realization.However,the current situation in China is sports values lag behind relative to the post-materialism social values.China's sports values do not fully reflect post-materialism like social values,and the conflict and deviation between the values brought by social development and sports values lead to a variety of problems.Nowadays,sports values in China are separated from "physical" and "education" to a large extent,and sports values that focus on the all-round development of human beings are in a dilemma in contemporary China.China is now committed to building a harmonious society.The implementation of scientific and harmonious development strategy is a wise choice to adapt to the changes in values.The choice of value orientation directly determines the development of sports.It is urgent to improve and develop the sports value system in view of the realistic problem and predicament of sports value in China.This paper carries out research along the line of "raising questions--theoretical exploration--empirical testing--realistic analysis--value reconstruction",and applies relevant issues and concepts of western philosophy and sociology as well as empirical materials to focus on the changes of sports values and sports behavior,mainly towards two aspects,namely backward and forward.Backward research means to trace the root cause of the change back along the causal chain,while forward research means to analyze the consequences and trends of the change forward.Through mastering the western research achievements on values,the paper will comb the change rule of social values and the evolution trend of mass sports behavior;sums up the postmodernism sports values focusing on human development become the theme of modern values;humanism thought gradually highlights and forms the new sports values under the self-expression values;the sports field develops from competitive sports dominated to public sports;lifestyle and sports tend to diversification and self-determination;mass sports emerges and people's values are increasingly tending to modern idealism.Facing the “weakness” neglected by school sports in China,the imbalanced development of competitive sports talents on intelligence and physique,the simplification of talent distribution model,and the incompleteness of public sports field,the paper,using the western research data and theory,absorbs the quintessence and discards the dregs,and then concludes that no matter western sports or China's sports,the essence and core concept of sports is constant;the humanistic spirit of sports always runs through the whole process of sports development.The problem of sports value in our country mainly lies in the shielding of humanistic idea.The following inspirations are obtained: firstly,to build a complete system for the cognitive development,education,control and evaluation of school physical education.The second is to establish diversified channels for training high-level talents.The Third is to construct mass sports value of "human subjectivity".The fourth is to raise the lifelong sports thought of caring about life.We should improve and develop the sports value system,absorb the humanistic spirit of the western post-materialism value system and the development trend and law of the modernist value system,promote the traditional Chinese sports culture,and build a sports value system with Chinese characteristics in line with China's national conditions with dialectical thinking.
