Mathematics anxiety has been a hot research topic at home and abroad,and mathematics as a basic subject has a far-reaching impact on the academic development of junior high school students.Previous studies have found that attributional style influences math anxiety,and math learning self-efficacy also influences math anxiety.Based on the integration of mental health and mathematics,this paper empirically studies the relationship between attribution style,mathematics learning self-efficacy and mathematics anxiety of junior middle school students.In this study,650 students of three grades in a middle school in Cangzhou Economic Development Zone of Hebei Province were tested by attribution style,mathematics learning self-efficacy and mathematics anxiety scale,the characteristics of attribution style,mathematics learning self-efficacy and mathematics anxiety of junior middle school students in some demographic variables were analyzed,and the relationship among them was analyzed,the mediating role of mathematics learning self-efficacy between attributional style and mathematics anxiety of junior middle school students was also discussed.The results show that:(1)The successful attribution has positive influence on mathematics learning self-efficacy,and the failure attribution has negative influence on it.The negative effect of self-efficacy on mathematics anxiety in junior middle school.Success Attribution and mathematics anxiety had negative influence,failure attribution had positive influence on mathematics anxiety.(2)There was a positive correlation between success attribution and mathematics learning self-efficacy,and a negative correlation between failure attribution and mathematics learning self-efficacy.There was a significant negative correlation between mathematics learning self-efficacy and mathematics anxiety.There was a significant negative correlation between success attribution and mathematics anxiety,and a significant positive correlation between failure attribution and mathematics anxiety.(3)Mathematics learning self-efficacy plays a mediating role between success attribution and mathematics anxiety,that is,success attribution affects mathematics anxiety through mathematics learning self-efficacy.Mathematics learning self-efficacy plays a partial intermediary role between failure attribution and mathematics anxiety,that is,failure attribution affects mathematics anxiety partly through mathematics learning self-efficacy.
