TPRS teaching method is a kind of behavior situational teaching method based on the whole body reaction teaching method,which integrates the story teaching.It takes the creation of classroom situational stories and circular questioning as the core.It has been applied in second language teaching since it was put forward in 1990,and has achieved certain results.This paper applies TPRS teaching method to children's literacy teaching,and names it TPRS literacy teaching method.This paper briefly describes the current situation of overseas children's literacy classroom teaching,analyzes the problems existing in literacy teaching,and expounds the feasibility of TPRS literacy teaching method to solve such problems.Based on TPRS teaching method,this paper constructs a classroom teaching mode of "introducing new knowledge,consolidating questions,creating classroom situation stories,circulating questions,review and practice,induction and summary",and applies this mode to teaching practice to verify the effectiveness of TPRS literacy teaching method.Based on the evaluation of the test results,this paper analyzes that TPRS literacy teaching method has significant advantages in improving the comprehensive Chinese level of overseas children,students' classroom participation and learning enthusiasm,and proposes that TPRS literacy teaching method should be used with other teaching methods,and the frequency of use should be adjusted according to the teaching content.By constructing the teaching mode of TPRS teaching method in literacy teaching classroom,this paper enriches the relevant theories of TPRS teaching method in the field of literacy,and provides a newthinking and method of literacy teaching for the majority of overseas children Chinese teachers.
