Nowadays, with the rapid development of social services, social organizations undertake social service projects from the government every year.In the process of social service implementation,it is a common phenomenon to give gifts, which has become an important medium for social workers(hereinafter referred to as social workers)and service objects to interact. As for the common phenomenon of giving gifts in social services, there are some disputes in both academic and practical circles.People in the practical circles have different opinions. Some people think it is necessary to give gifts.China is a human society, and the gift carrying friendship is a kind of etiquette. In the process of carrying out services,it is not appropriate for the visitors to go empty handed According to the characteristics of interpersonal communication in China, gifts can also create an atmosphere for activities and gather popularity. However, some people think that the act of giving gifts is improper, the standards of giving gifts are different, which is not conducive to the promotion of professionalism and the development of the industry.Based on many disputes, gifts in social services are worth studying. Therefore, this paper analyzes the gifts in social services. The discussion of gifts involves a series of problems, such as social service management, service professionalism, service performance of social workers, etc.through literature research, this paper studies the status quo of social services and the connotation of gifts, and discusses social service management from the perspective of gifts.Gifts run through social services.Through interviews with 10 social workers and 10 service objects / volunteers, this paper analyzes the types and functions of gifts in social services, analyzes the alienation phenomenon of gifts in the actual service development, causes of the alienation of gifts, and summarizes how to dilute the influence of gifts and make services return to themselves. The core content of this study is divided into four parts. The first part mainly combs the gifts in social services. After combing,we found that there are two kinds of gifts in social services, one is emotional gift, which has Memorial and symbolic significance, the other is instrumental gift, which has the function of publicizing social services and attracting service objects to participate. In the selection of gifts, the main factors that affect social workers' choice of gifts are budget, service object preference, and service content. After the gifts are determined,in the process of using the gifts,it is found that the gifts can ensure the smooth development of the service, express gratitude to the service objects / volunteers, and maintain the relationship between social workers and service objects / volunteers. The second part mainly analyzes the alienation phenomenon in the use of gifts. In terms of professionalism, gifts weaken social workers' confidence in self professionalism and become the core of social workers' relationship between maintenance and service objects. In the social service management of institutions, gifts can reduce the difficulty of social workers to achieve service performance, and social workers tend to use gifts instead of services when choosing services. In the cognition of the service object, the alienation of gift is mainly manifested in the deviation of the service object's understanding of the social service caused by the issue of gift. The service object thinks that "social service will definitely send a gift" or "social service is the service of sending a gift".In the service object's mind, receiving a gift is more important than participating in the service, and the gift is more attractive than the service. The third part analyzes the causes of the alienation of gifts. In order to achieve their own service performance indicators and guarantee the smooth development of service projects, social workers give gifts to service objects / volunteers whenproviding services. The difficulty of establishing professional relationship and the difficulty of maintaining professional relationship also make social workers give gifts continuously when providing services. While institutions manage social service projects, service professional investment and service implementation The difficulty also allows social workers to use gifts. In the fourth part, aiming at the alienation of gifts, the author tries to put forward some governance measures.Gifts should be used under clear use standards.Institutions should make clear the principles of giving gifts, enhance the effectiveness of gift giving, and weaken the universal use of gifts.Social workers should pay attention to the influence of gifts in social services from a professional point of view, scientifically evaluate the role and influence of gifts in the service relationship when using gifts, pay attention to the maintenance of stable relationship in long-term service when using gifts, reasonably use gifts, and control the use frequency of gifts. The use of gifts should also be put under a certain supervision system. It is necessary to make clear the expenditure of gifts in the budget and control it within a certain range. It is also necessary to strengthen the guidance of supervision on gift distribution and guide social workers to use gifts scientifically and reasonably. The innovation of this study is to enrich the theoretical research in social service research with the support of alienation theory. It focuses on the alienation of gifts in social service and the causes of alienation with alienation theory to supplement the research on gifts in social service. After the interview, the gifts used in social services are systematically combed to help social workers deeply understand the impact of gift use,so as to improve their professional service ability.
