In recent years,with the development of international education and the reform of new curriculum,the country has paid more and more attention to the cultivation of teachers' psychological quality.From teachers who have just entered the job,they must adapt themselves to the new identity,but also to the new environment.During the induction period,there is a common problem of teaching anxiety among primary school novice teachers,which will not only affect the teaching quality of teachers,but also affect the development of teachers' physical and mental health.Among previous literature on this issue,the majority of researchers have focused on the anxiety of students,while put little attention on teachers' concern,especially the group of novice teachers in elementary schools.Based on Spielberg's theory of state-characteristic anxiety,Bandura's theory of effectiveness expectation and uncertainty theory,this paper is designed to analyze the performances,possible reasons and influences of teaching anxieties for new elementary teachers.Taking 91 new elementary teachers in Guanghan city as the research subject,the methodology of questionnaires and interviews are used to study and probe into the anxieties they may encounter when teaching.Hopefully,this study may offer some suggestions for the future to alleviate the level of teaching anxieties for beginner teachers in elementary schools.In this experiment,quantitative analysis method was used to analyze the the state-quality anxiety scale and the teaching anxiety questionnaire of the novice teachers with the assistance of spss26.The results showed that the state-quality anxiety and trait anxiety of the novice teachers are generally at a normal level,and the trait anxiety level is slightly lower than the state anxiety level;the teaching anxiety level of the primary school novice teachers is relatively higher.In order to have a better understanding of their teaching anxieties,12 new elementary teachers were selected randomly for the interview.It turns out that the teaching anxieties of new elementary teachers can be encapsulated in the following four aspects:preparation anxiety,class anxiety,teaching effect anxiety and daily life anxiety.Moreover,subjective factors as teachers' professional ability and mental health along with objective factors as students' feedback,teacher-student relationship,official evaluation mode and training programs from school are the major causes that aroused teaching anxieties.Based on the analysis of the performance and causes of teaching anxiety among primary school novice teachers,this study puts forward some suggestions to alleviate teaching anxiety from primary school novice teachers themselves and school.Teachers' level: firstly,improving their professional quality;Secondly,enhancing their psychological enduring capacity;Thirdly,handling the teacher-student relationship correctly;Fourthly,learning from excellent teachers and so on.Schools' level: firstly,establishing a comprehensive and multi-angle evaluation model;Secondly,attaching importance to the systematic classroom management training for elementary school teachers;Thirdly,constructing a diversified training system,and strengthening the connection between teaching theory and teaching practice.In a word,these suggestions are expected to help new elementary teachers to successfully get through induction period and make progress in professional ability and obtain comprehensive development in physical and mental health.
