| The novice teacher is the first stage of the teacher’s career,and also a necessary stage in the teachers’ professional development.The teaching experience and psychological state of the novice teacher will affect their career development.At the very beginning of their Chinese language teaching,the novice teachers are faced with a series of challenges,such as the inadaptation to the new role,new circumstances and various conflicts,which pose a threat to their teaching anxiety.During the author’s internship,it can be seen that the teaching anxiety in novice teachers widely exists,which should be brought to the foremost to be further studied.First of all,the relevant literature on teaching anxiety research at home and abroad are collected and compiled in this study,and the concepts of Chinese novice teachers and teaching anxiety are also be defined.the author elaborated completely the theoretical foundations of this study,which included the anxiety theory,expectancy efficiency theory and uncertainty theory.the basic idea of this research is introduced.Secondly,In this study,a self-compiled questionnaire and a State-Trait Anxiety Inventory are used to investigate 100 novice Chinese teachers who graduated from H Normal University in 2017 and 2018.According to the data in questionnaire and inventory analyzed by spss22,the overall level of teaching anxiety in Chinese novice teachers is slightly higher.In order to collect more information,11 teachers were selected randomly from the subjects.After that,the author come to the conclusion that The teaching anxieties of Chinese novice teachers are mainly reflected in four aspects:the anxiety of role changing,the anxiety of lesson preparing and teaching,daily life anxiety,and teacher-student interaction anxiety.there are significant difference in educational background,teaching period and the reasons for teaching.On the basis of the data,the reasons for the high anxiety of teaching are analyzed,including the subjective factors such as the professional quality and psychological quality of the new teachers,as well as the objective aspects such as the communication between teachers and students and the teaching management.Based on the performance,characteristics and Causes,this author proposes different strategies to alleviate it mainly from two aspects of teachers themselves and schools.On the one hand,the teachers’ level includes First,adjust cognitive biases,and look at yourself correctly.Second,improve professional qualities and calmly deal with teaching.Third,debug mental state and effectively reduce anxiety.Fourth,learn communication skills and properly resolve conflicts.Fifth,ask for excellence Teachers,relieve anxiety in a timely manner.sixth,reflect on teaching,and continuously improve the level.On the other hand,some measures should be taken on the school’s level,which includes paying great attention to the induction training for novice teachers,establishing and improving the mentoring system and creating a good campus cultural environment.The author do hope these strategies can help novice teacher to adjust themselves to their teaching works and achieve all-round growth and development. |
