With the concept of preschool education and social development,male preschool teachers become a new force that can't be ignored.At the same time,the society is mixed with the biased voice of them.Affected by occupational characteristics,they pay attention to their emotional management and expression.Emotional labor is an important angle to understand them.From the perspective of interpersonal communication,the study focuses on male preschool teachers.By explaining the personalized emotional labor experience,the process picture of emotional labor of male preschool teachers will be deeply considered.This article uses the method of in-depth interviews and observations,and uses NVivo 12 Plus qualitative analysis software to encode and analyze data.It is found that there are four emotional labor processes,including social discipline process,gender cognitive process,situational interaction process and dynamic influence process.In the process of discipline,they are subjected to the forces of social discipline and their emotions are stabilized into the order state for interpersonal communication.In the cognitive process,they present diverse gender cognition.They are dominated by traditional gender concept of "masculinity",even reject the temperament feminine.Some can produce bisexual gender consciousness.In the interactive process,they face three situations and use flexible ways,including interactive strategies through sensory channels,the sublimation of emotions and deep transformation of labor relations towards mimic male kinship.In the process of dynamic influence,emotional labor has double-edged influence.Although they have temporary emotional burnout,but can get timely emotional reward and strengthen self-identity.And they shape the new labor process.At this point,the process of emotional labor of male preschool teachers presents a clear structural picture.In a word,in the interpersonal communication during labor,they have the subjective consciousness of gender and labor.They regard gender as a charm and integrate it into emotional labor process to promote their more self-worth,so as to break through social prejudice and finally say "I am not a ‘male aunt' ".
