Multimedia Video Surveillance Service is already a mature Internet service,but,due to lack of signaling concept and the corresponding system,session control and related user authentication,authorization,and billing are more difficult,which leads to technical threshold too high for developing the information service and difficultly bring convenience to people's life through the network,"commercialization" and "public service" function of multimedia video surveillance service has lots of limitations.On the other hand,different manufacturers use different protocols to research and develop the multimedia video business,which lead to the mutual independence between the monitoring platform and the resource sharing.Multimedia Video Surveillance service as a typical IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem)service is an important areas for new generation communications service development,which meets the requirements of IMS service,at the same time satisfies the requirements of the operations,the management of teleservice for Service Provider.For making the video surveillance to become an important part of the Information Service Products "E-commerce",it needs to research and develop application server as the platform for integrating video surveillance and other functions in network,and with the IMS signaling mechanism to integrate into the IMS new service,which can support its commercial operation effectively and realize the integrated innovation of the IMS service.So as the main body of the IMS service supporting environment,IMS application server is vital in IMS service.In this thesis,an IMS Application Server designed for multimedia video surveillance,Performing GB/T 28181 protocol specification,can effectively support interoperability between the platform.using the B2BUA AS operation mode,so it is facilitate for controlling and billing of the service and can improve the user quality of experience.The main research contents and obtained achievements in the thesis are as follows.1)This thesis researches and designs typical business logic flow of GB/T 28181 protocol specification and the function architecture of the IMS application server supportting the multimedia video surveillance and the typical service signaling process of multimedia video surveillance,and implements the key signaling process logic.2)A method which could be used to support the transmission media interaction of multimedia service negotiation session is proposed,and the related signaling message flows are designed.3)Put forward the design scheme of IMS signaling server which use a mode of application server basing the B2BUA.media server logic function is designed and the realization of the media server is used for receiving and transmitting the media streaming;4)RTSP media gateway module is designed and implemented,and the conversion of the control signaling SIP-RTSP protocol is realized.Results of the tests show that the IMS application server designed and implemented in this thesis meets the requirements of design,and can support multimedia video surveillance service,and the IMS application server has been delivered to China Mobile Group Liaoning Company Limited to demonstrate the application.
