In the21st century, technology innovation activities become more complex anduncertain, leading to an enterprise must Put into huge human, material and financialresources, any enterprise can't isolated complete technical innovation. Therefore, theenterprises at home and abroad will focus on how to search and using enterpriseexternal knowledge to promote technology innovation ability. How to search theexternal knowledge of all kinds channel knowledge, obtain and make use of theseknowledge will become the key to promote technology innovation performance. Soenterprise must shift the focus of competition to comprehensive use of variousknowledge channel, the focus of the technology innovation also should focus onexternal partners seek, not in the enterprise internal seek technical know-how. In theknowledge absorptive capacity perspective, this paper that discussed the enhance roleof search strategy on corporate performance has far-reality significance.According to the theory of organization learning and knowledge management, summarized the essential connotation of technological innovation and evaluation indexsystem of the technological innovation performance, the relationship between thesearch strategy?knowledge absorptive capacity and the innovation performance. Basedon this, this paper divides the search strategy into breadth and depth, divides theknowledge absorptive capacity into potential absorption ability and actual absorptionability, analyzeed impact mechanism of search strategy on technology innovationperformance and the mechanism of knowledge absorptive capacity in the process, andthus constructs the impact mechanism model of search strategy on technologyinnovation performance with knowledge absorptive capacity as the moderatorvariable by theoretical analysis, which contained fore invluence factors, two regulatevariable and five control variable.Relevent hypothesis was also brought forward. Thenqustionaire survey was carried out and155effective ones were received finally. Andthen uses the reliability analysis, validity analysis, variance analysis, structuralequation modeling analysis to statistical analyzes the sample data. The empirical results show that: the scales have good levels of reliability andvalidity; there is a significantly positive impact in search depth and serch breadth ontechnology innovation performance; Potential absorption ability is the moderatorvariable of the influence of serch breadth on technology innovation performance; actual absorption ability is the moderator variable of the influence of serch breadth?search depth on technology innovation performance.Based on the results, thispaper proposes some management recommendations as follows: Enterprise should bebased on the external environment and its resources to choose the appropriate searchstrategy, so that more effective use of all kinds of knowledge of the knowledge of thechannel. Enterprises should pay more attention on the promote effect to technolog yinnovation performance enhanced by knowledge absorptive capacity, and fullyenhance the knowledge absorptive capacity by taking the appropriate measures, suchas strive to do knowledge management work better, intensify organizational learningculture and strengthen cooperation of different departments. As there is little empirical research about search strategy on the domesticenterprise, this paper is a useful attempt to application the search strategy to domesticenterprise. In the meantime the introduction of knowledge absorptive capacity also ispreliminary exploration to further develop the theory research. Aims to provide somereference for the domestic enterprises, hope for provide some theoretical guidancefurther promotion the technology innovation performance of enterprises.
