At present, the Yangtze River has become the main battlefield of land development. As the largest tributary of the Yangtze River, strengthening the opening and development of Han River will play an important role in the construction of Yangtze River Economic Zone and city group in the middle reaches of Yangtze River. In 2013,Hubei government replaced its strategy of "two economic circles and one economic zone" with 'two economic circles and two economic zone".It demanded to speed up opening and development of Han River and built the Han River Ecological Economic Zone, making it the new engine of stimulating economic growth and transformation of Hubei province. As accelerator of the economic development and the third source of profit of companies, making logistics industry as a breakthrough and promoting the development of the logistics industry is of great significance to promote the opening and development of the Han River Ecological Economic Zone, which will promote industrial upgrading and transformation of economic growth and increase the competitiveness of the regional economy. So the researching on the relations of the regional logistics and regional economy in Han River Ecological Economic Zone has a realistic background and great practical value.Firstly,by studying relevant literature on regional logistics and regional economy,it found the insufficiency of the latest research.By studying relevant theory of regional logistics and regional economy and doing qualitative analysis of the relationship between the two,it laid the foundation for the empirical analysis of the relations of regional logistics and regional economy in Han River ecological economic zone. Then the essay analyzed the situation of regional logistics in Han River Ecological Economic Zone from the aspect of regional logistics demand, logistics supply, logistics information level and the development of logistics enterprises and logistic personnel and logistics policy.Meanwhile it discussed the regional economic development from the aspect of economic scale and structure.Based on qualitative analysis, the essay carried out empirical research in two parts.Firstly, choosing real GDP as representatives of regional economic development and freight on behalf of regional logistics development,it did the cointegration analysis between real GDP and freight of Han River Ecological Economic Zone.It found that there is a long-run equilibrium relationship between regional logistics and regional economy of Han River Ecological Economic Zone.Regional economic development is the Granger cause of regional logistics development, but regional logistics development is not the Granger cause of regional economic development, the speed of regional economic development is faster than regional logistics development. And there is no positive interaction between the two. Then, choosing GDP as representatives of regional economic development and freight on behalf of regional logistics development,it built the Logistic model of GDP and freight of Han River Ecological Economic Zone.By marginal analysis, elastic analysis and the inflection point analysis,it found that contribution of freight to GDP is increasing. In 2012,if freight increases 10,000 tons,GDP will increase 0.7144 million RMB;if freight increases 1 percent,GDP will increase 313.47%;and when freight increases to 1.34911 billion tons, the GDP growth led by freight reached a maximum. Finally, the essay proposed recommendations from the aspect of logistics infrastructure network system, logistics information systems, logistics companies and policy and personnel security to build ecological civilized logistics zone, which will promote comprehensive, coordinated and sustained economic development.
