Microcosmic Explanation Of Rural Urbanization In China From The Perspective Of Family

As the most important micro subject in urbanization,the rural have always been decision-makers independently,which is the basic truth of rural urbanization.Family is the significant decision foundation,achieving the sustainable development of families is the basic objective of rural urbanization.Family strategy has been making rural urbanization behavior varied.The paper shift perspective from the macro-level to microcosmic.family,aimed at explaining the micro-mechanism of rural urbanization from the family perspective,revealing the spacial family-centered standard in the urbanization.There are three research priorities:Firstly,clarifying the relationship between perspective of family and micro explanation of rural urbanization.The foothold of this paper is discussion about inner rules in family action unit.Secondly,extracting the core characteristics of family strategy and mechanism.Through grasping the general logic of microcosmic behavior from motivation to practice,constructing a microcosmic explanation framework of rural urbanization based on family units.Lastly,To validate the effectiveness of the microcosmic explanation framework based on the inner labor division and expense priority in explaining the urbanization in current China,the urbanization in the administrative region of Wuhan city was studied.Here are the conclusions:1)Multiple rational people based on the family's collective decision-making is basic motive of urbanization,extending connotation of individual rationality to family rationality further.Meanwhile,family members mainly carry out the overall decision in the form of inter-generational correlation,expanding the probability of family strategy by cooperation.Family rationality and inter-generational correlation reveal that:rational motivation of microscopic behavior have a deeper institutional arrangement from family.2)Through family division,the members can dynamically distribute limited resources sufficiently,in order to expand household wealth.Likewise,under their payment capacity,the expense priority enables the families to meet their most urgent and important demands,which based on reducing the compensation standard,self-discipline and family compensation.Labor division and expense priority are the most differences between the urbanization of China rural and that of western countries,which constitute the main logic influenced by the traditional culture of China.Therefore based on these core logic,we can construct the microcosmic explanation framework of the rural urbanization in China,and preliminary design framework for empirical analysis.3)Based on the empirical analysis framework,this research firstly explain the micro logic of rural urbanization in Wuhan city.Based on the family logic,the paper then analysis the phenomenon of semi-urbanization in the administrative region of Wuhan city.On the whole,the micro logic present for semi-urbanization based on the inter-generational labor division and The low level of balance.In this life cycle,the local rural won't choose to move easily,but gradually improve the economic base and welfare level.Because of the semi-urbanization logic,families have been separated in small temporal,and spatial scale and maintaining low level of daily life range.,which are the local characteristics of urbanization behavior framework.The concrete content includes the labor flow nearby,Small-scale peasant production,keeping household assets stay in the country,and maintaining low level of daily life range.The whole thesis contains about 48 000 words,48 pictures and charts.
