Since the development of Hainan construction, the number of tourists is progressively increasing. A new opportunity of Hainan western tourism is coming while the high-speed rail crossing the island has started, which will bring the booming development of local catering industry. Therefore strengthening the local food security supervision has become a significant mission of International Tourism Island construction.Basing on the general issue of tourism catering security, this thesis aims at studying the supervision mechanism of Hainan tourism catering security. First of all, the author has studied the domestic and aboard supervision mechanism of catering and legislation of catering service, as well as the basic theory and means of catering security supervision.Secondly, learning the development of Hainan tourism catering security by means of SWOT analysis which contains strength, weakness, opportunity and threat after consult document literatures and interview the local restaurants and relevant departments. Taking Danzhou for instance, the author investigate the current status of Danzhou tourism catering security supervision by utilizing on-the-sport visiting and questionnaire survey. Finally,this thesis will propose some advisement about Hainan tourism catering security supervision which brings strategy reference to improve Danzhou tourism catering security supervision system even Hainan according to the particularity of Hainan tourism catering and the opinion of front-line staff, also the regionalism and seasonal characteristic in Hainan.This thesis will extend in these five parts:1. In the first part, the author will present the research significance by means of network and relevant literature about the research of domestic and abroad tourism catering security supervision, also utilize literature research method, cross-disciplinary approach,comparative approach, questionnaire survey and empirical evidence base on the thesis 's framework.2. According to defining tourism catering and food security, this thesis will discuss the basic concept and theory, also study the HACCP quality control system and public governance comprehensively. Meanwhile, the author utilizes the comparative method basing on the study of domestic and abroad tourism catering security experience to conclude with some advisement which is somewhat meaningful to Hainan tourism catering security.3. Establishing the SWOT model, combining with current situation of Hainan tourism catering industry, to analyze Hainan tourism catering security development in four angles including strength, weakness, opportunity and threat, for the purpose of turning weakness to strength as threat to opportunity.4. Designs questionnaire on basis of Danzhou tourism catering security, which utilizes SPSS 17.0 software for data analysis and makes conclusions by frequency, described analysis and crossover analysis.5.
