The development process of urbanization and industrialization in China is rapid,the contradiction between economic development and the shortage of resources,the contradiction between industrial transformation and upgrading and inefficient urban land use is becoming increasingly prominent.However,the level of urbanization development has been faster than the development of industrialization in Sichuan province,urban land demand surge,which makes the urban built-up area expand outwards.The rapid expansion of city land can not only promote the development of social economy,but also bring the urban-rural income gap,the decrease of the land,the destruction of the ecological environment problems.How to ensure the urbanization development level of Sichuan Province is not inhibited,how to make the land elements during the process of urbanization to intensive use has become the important issues of efficiency between the city land and economic development.From the two dimensions of total economic growth and changes of economic structure of the comprehensive effects on the expansion of city land,to coordinate the relationship between sustainable economic development and the "expensive" city land resources,is conducive to the adjustment of the direction of economic development,improve the utilization efficiency of land resources in the city.This paper based on the analysis of the basic situation of economic development and land resource,referring to the relevant literature,this paper puts forward the Kuznets curve hypothesis of economic growth and urban land expansion.Through the analysis of the total related data that include the index of economic aggregate,economic structure and urban land expansion in 18 city of Sichuan province during 2000-2014,constructing a panel data model,and using robust least squares regression,fixed effects model,threshold regression,ordinary least squares regression and other research methods,analysis of the impact of economic growth on urban land expansion.The main conclusions are as follows:First of all,investigate the relationship between urban land expansion(represented by the built-up area)and the total amount of economy(expressed in Yuan).the overall situation of the study area showed a decline-increase-decrease of the "N" type three cube relationship,inflection point appeared in 2002 and 2010.It can be said that they are basically follow the Kuznets curve of urban land expansion.Sub regional perspective,Chengdu area was "N",fonts,inflection point appeared in 2002 and 2010;In the northeast of Sichuan Province,the inverted U curve was found in 2000 and 2012 respectively;In the south of Sichuan Province,it was "N" fonts and the inflection point appeared in 2008 and 2011 respectively;Panxi region basically no trend,the distribution between the points more dispersed,inflection point appeared in 2005,2010 and 2011 respectively.Secondly,investigate the influence of the development of economic structure on the of urban land expansion,take the industrial structure(represented by the second and third industries),the level of investment(represented by investment in fixed assets accounting),the level of consumption(represented by actual growth rate of the total retail sales of consumer goods),the foreign trade(represented by the actual foreign investment accounted for the proportion of GDP),the fiscal revenue and expenditure accounted for the proportion of GDP and other factors into account,analyzes its marginal influence on the urban land expansion one by one.The increase proportion of the second industry and fiscal revenue in GDP will slow down the rate of expansion of city land,reduce the demand for land area.Degree from large to small:second industries in GDP,fiscal expenditure and fiscal revenue in GDP.The decrease proportion of the third industry and input and output ratio and level of foreign trade increase will accelerate the pace of expansion of city land,increase the demand for land area.Degree fromlarge to small:foreign trade,the third industry in GDP and input and output ratio.Finally,investigate the effects of the economic structure variables on the built-up area and per capita income curve.The influence coefficients of the second industry and fiscal expenditure and fiscal revenue on the built-up area and per capita income curve are negative,there are-2.499,-5.057,-4.070,with the increase of the coefficient,built-up area and per capita income curve tends to be slow.The influence coefficient of the third industry and fixed asset investment account for GDP and foreign investment proportion are positive,there are 2.905,0.787,4.351,with the gradually increase in the coefficient,built-up area and per capita income curve tends to be more steep.Some suggestions are put forward according to the above conclusions,n order to provide a certain reference value for the economic growth of Sichuan province and the sustainable development of urban land resources.
