Top management team is the core policy makers in the enterprise.TMT is the important decision makers of the enterprise development strategy of the company,design the business direction angd operationa strategy.TMT has respect to the fate of the enterprise.Therefore the research on top management team is being paid more and more attention.But the research conclusion of top management team is very different now.Many scholars don't consider the effect of strategy selection in the study.The China is transforming from the planned economic system to the market economic system and from traditional agricultural civilization to the modem industry civilization at present,so the research in this area has the realistic necessity.Based on this background,combing the enterprise top management team characteristics influence on diversification strategy choice and its effect on corporate performance is of great significance.On the one hand,it can provides the reference for the enterprise to form of the top management team and provide the reference for the selection of team members,on the other hand,it can provide analytical thinking for the senior management team in the face of the strategic choice of enterprises and improving enterprise performance.On the basis of the review of existing related research,this paper build a model that based on senior management team to research the relationship of corporate diversification strategy and enterprise performance.Then inspection and analysis the built model through the quantitative empirical research.This paper selects 200 manufacturing listing Corporation's senior management team characteristics in 2011 as the research object.On this basis,the reference related research achievements at home and abroad.According to the characteristics of top management team in different extend dimensions embodied in enterprise management,the top management team characteristics are divided into non heterogeneity variables and heterogeneity characteristics variables.The paper takes advantage of descriptive statistics,regression analysis,the hypothesis test and measurement to take steps to introduce frameworks.This paper studies the influence of TMT's features on the diversified strategic options and the enterprise performance.The data analysis results of this paper indicate that the diversified strategy has positive influence on enterprise performance,and the senior management team characteristics have a significant regulating effect between diversification strategy and corporate performance.Related conclusion and analysis have positive function and meaning to explain the mechanism of action of diversification strategy affect enterprise performance,to clear and definite the essential point of enterprise strategy management practices.
