Poverty reduction is the global outstanding strategy that mostly achieved during the Millennium Development Goals(MDGs)from 2000-2015 and the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)periods of 2015.The most significant progress was through the substantial decline in the portion of extremely poor among the Global population during the MDGs era in 2000s.The remarkable evidence is extensive reduction of extreme poverty in East Asia and Sub Saharan countries where the rapid growth of China and India helped lift millions of people out of poverty and seen as the best examples in poverty reduction strategies.Poverty is global occurrence that affects the nations, continents and people differently and Sub Saharan countries,South Asian and Latin American nations identified as leading nations to have highest rate of poverty and lowest level of socioeconomic growth.Despite the decreasing of poverty share but most people are falling in poverty region particularly in rural areas accounted for over 70%of rural population and the share of poverty is extreme higher in rural compared to urban areas. The purpose of the study was to assess the Rural Poverty Reduction Constraints in Tanzania cited examples of three regions(Dar es Salaam,Dodoma and Pwani)based on rural context. The need of this study was crucial since Tanzania have the number of poverty reduction strategies but seems to be unproductive as the resources allocated and more people still falling into poverty specifically in rural areas averaged 84.1%higher compared to previous data, however the poverty rate have fallen. The cross sectional design were the applied, the primary data were collected through well-designed administered questionnaires whereby 400 questionnaires distributed and 357 were collected present 89.25%response rate and the secondary data collected through documentary review. The data analysed using IBM SPSS and content analysis. The coordination of failures theory was used to guide the study to attain the objective and assisted in data analysis as expected to be so.Research outcomes have shown multiple, interrelated and mutually interdependent factors for rural poverty reduction constraints and the social constraints are the most dominant than financial, legal and infrastructural constraintsFinally, based on the findings of this research, the following measures have been identified as priority areas and recommended to be considered in tackling rural poverty constraints that can significantly increase poverty reduction and suggested to have clear policies with specific objectives and targets, effective coordination among stakeholders, strengthening the collective capabilities of rural people, stable macroeconomic situation, and advancing individual capabilities.Additionally, provision of education particularly in entrepreneurship and vocational training among indigenous people, inclusion of rural people in development projects, increase access to financial loans with low interest, infrastructure improvements(roads, ports, railways, electricity and so on),establishments of rural cooperative groups, increasing subsidies in modern agricultural facilities, distribution of advanced technology, better uses of resources allocated, improvement of investment climate and eradicating corruption advised as the methods to solve rural poverty alleviation constraints.
