Recent studies have indicated that public-private partnership construction projects is one of the aspects that leads to a country development.Studies have been conducted to investigate the drivers and barriers into different developed countries and have been stated out.As Rwanda is a country which is developing in various areas.Public private partnership construction projects are one of the most promoted aspects of the government in order to archive its goals of development.In order to promote PPP construction projects,drivers has to be more maintained and controlled and barriers have to be reduced.There are no many reaches have been done to know the drivers and buriers for public-private partnership and measure their impact.This thesis is focusing on a study of drivers and buriers for public-private partnership in Rwanda.Drivers and barriers are first identified from literature and classified.A survey is conducted to confirm the buriers and drivers for public-private partnership construction projects in Rwanda and their impact is measured according to the data collected and new drivers and barriers are being identified by the respondents.The drivers and barriers identified are classified according to their impact to be suggested to the government and companies for PPP construction projects to be promoted by Rwanda in order to achieve its goal of development.
