The logistics between Fujian and Taiwan is one of the most dazzling logistics in the southeast coastal areas,and there are some obvious advantages to carry out the dry bulk cargo transit transportation between Fujian and Taiwan,which are close economic connection,equipped port facilities,evident demand and economy of transportation,as well as suitable geographical location."Cross Strait Economic Zone Development Plan","The Fujian Straits Blue Economic Experimental Zone Development Plan" and other national strategic development plans are explicitly proposed to promote the logistics channel construction of Fujian and Taiwan,which creates a favorable policy environment for the development of bulk cargo logistics between Fujian and Taiwan.From the Taiwan dry bulk commodities logistics market,it can be seen that energy import dependency of Taiwan has been maintained above 95%.Besides,the need of coal,iron ore and other dry bulk commodity are met mainly through importing.In the increasingly large-scale development trend of the bulk cargo ship,either berthing capacity or large number of the port bulk cargo berths in Taiwan are difficult to adapt to the requirement of the development.However,there are many excellent deep water harbors in Fujian Province together with a pilot policy advantage to Taiwan.Therefore,as the core business of international transport,the dry bulk cargo transportation,mainly are coal and iron ore,is expected to become the hotspot and innovation point in cross-strait logistics cooperation.By using qualitative and quantitative methods,basing on the analysis of the status quo and development plan of dry bulk project transportation of Taiwan ports,combining the demand and development trend of dry bulk transportation in Taiwan,this paper predicts the market space of coastal development of bulk cargo logistics of Fujian with linear regression and balanced methods.At the same time,from the perspective of Taiwan imports of dry bulk commodities,this paper also analyzes the purchasing economy of Taiwan shippers under different schemes,and determines the optimal construction scheme of the dry bulk cargo transit logistics system of Fujian to Taiwan,by building the models of port site selection and purchasing bulk commodities.The research shows that the existing bulk cargo logistics system of Taiwan cannot adapt to the trend of large-scale development of ships,and if it just carries out a simple waterway-waterway transit transport and the comprehensive logistic costs will still be uncompetitive and the development space relatively small.The development of bulk cargo logistics of Fujian to Taiwan should break the traditional transportation mode,construct a large bulk cargo logistics center,create a professional bulk trading market,and strive for free trade and other related policies to support.To provide the integrated logistics services of storage,distribution,processing,bonded,information,trading and so on for large cargo owners in Taiwan,to improve the operation efficiency and the value of bulk cargo logistics system,to display the advantage of professional market price depression,and to guide the power plants,the steel plants and other large owners in Taiwan to change purchasing mode,so as to make the bulk cargo logistics market of Fujian to Taiwan become bigger and stronger,thus realizing the sustainable development of bulk cargo logistics of Fujian to Taiwan.
