In the trend of economic globalization,the competition and cooperation of technology standards are the core issues that the development of enterprises faces nowadays and whether they can play the leading role determines the competitive advantages and market positions of enterprises.Incompatible technologies can lead the competition of technology standards to a zero-sum game,which means only win and lose,with no win-win situation,so industries need a common technology standard that can reflect current level of technology development.‘The first-class enterprise sells standards,the second-class enterprise sells technology,and the third-class enterprise sells products',which reaches a consensus within the industry.Besides,the trend of cooperation in technology researches and the flow of technology resources contribute to the emergence of various forms of corporate collaboration R&D network,which becomes take the enterprise as the core innovation subject,and establishes an important organizational form of formal or informal cooperation between enterprises or between enterprises and suppliers,customers,competitors,scientific research institutions,and governments.The characteristics of corporate collaboration R&D network are of great significance and value to the improve the technology standard setting capability and technology innovation performance,by which can break the boundaries of time and space,integrate the resources and information of enterprises and other subjects.Collaborative cooperation in research and development of technology achievements.Furthermore,in order to promoting the improvement of the technology standard setting capability,stakeholders constantly gamble and negotiate to promote the process.And the formulation of technology standards provides technology specifications and guidance for the transformation of products and process flows,which is conducive to innovation and output,forming competitive advantages for enterprises,and improving technology innovation performance.The relationship between the characteristics of corporate collaboration R&D network and technology innovation performance has become a research hotpot among international scholars recently.However,the researches,which regard the technology standard setting capability as intervening variables and put the three factors within a unified framework,and under the influence of the technology standard setting capability,there is relatively little research on the effects of corporate collaborative R&D network characteristics on technology innovation performance.So the core of the research in this paper is to open the relationship between the three variables black box,and through the technology standard setting capability,explore the mechanism of the characteristics of corporate collaboration R&D network on technology innovation performance.In this paper,it starts at technology standard economics,social network theory and strategic alliance theory,the related theories of corporate collaboration R&D network characteristics,the technology standard setting capability and technology innovation performance are expounded,and the study of the relationship between the three variables.On the basis of theoretical research,according to the logic of collaborative interaction between technology standards and technology innovation,constructing theoretical model and make assumptions,.In addition,with an empirical analysis,formal investigations are conducted after pre-investigation,and 256 vivid questionnaires were collected for enterprise technology R&D managers or experienced R&D employees.Apart from that,SPSS and AMOS were utilized to analyze the reliability and validity of the sample data,which also used the structural equation model to testify each hypothesis and put Bootstrap method to verify the intermediate effect.Finally,According to the conclusions of the research,the research inspiration is proposed,and the shortcomings are summarized and forecast.Based on the theoretical analysis and empirical test,it is concluded that the three dimensions of corporate collaboration R&D network characteristics,including network center degree,connection breadth and connection strength,have positive and significant effects on the technology standards setting capability.Network center degree,connection breadth and connection strength have positive and significant effects on the two dimensions of technology innovation performance,including innovative efficiency and innovative benefits.The technology standard setting capability has positive and significant effects on innovative efficiency and innovative benefits.The technology standards setting capability plays a intermediate role in the relationship between network center degree,connection breadth and connection strength and innovative efficiency and innovative benefits.Also,it plays an complete intermediate role in the relationship between connection breadth and innovative efficiency and is not fully mediated among the rest of relations.The conclusion of this paper provides some references to relative researches,and it is indeed enlightening for the improvement of the comprehensive benefits of enterprises.
