| The 21 st century is a new century in which mankind is challenging the ocean.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,Marine tourism has become one of the fastest growing areas of the world's tourism industry.At present,the income of the world's Marine tourism has accounted for half of the world's total tourism revenue.As the most important part of Marine tourism,island tourism develops with the rise of Marine tourism.In recent years,island tourism has been developing rapidly.With its unique island scenery and island culture,island has become more and more popular among tourists and become a tourism hotspot in the world.China's islands are numerous,widely distributed and of complete species,including all types of world islands.At the same time,some island regions are rich in natural and human resources,with huge potential for development.Therefore,as the world island tourism enters its mature stage,it is of great significance for China to learn from the development status and trend of the world island tourism research on the whole.This paper tries to use bibliometric content analysis method and knowledge graph analysis method,drawing knowledge graphs with the aid of Citespace,an information visualization tool,and conducting geographic visualization analysis of collaborative networks,analyzing the main research efforts,knowledge base,research hotspot and research frontiers of the articles on island tourism in web of science from 1998 to 2017,from the dimension of spatial and temporal distribution and the dimension of content hierachy,and then exploring the development history,present situation and the trend of the world island tourism.Finally based on this,it puts forward suggestions for the development of island tourism in China.This paper mainly includes the following seven parts.The first part is the introduction part,which briefly expounds the background,research purpose and research significance of this paper,and introduces the research methods used in this paper,such as bibliometric analysis method,knowledge mapping analysis method and mathematical statistics method.A research roadmap was drawn.The second part is the related literature review,which mainly integrates the literature from three aspects: foreign island tourism research,domestic island tourism research and visualization research of tourism field.The research results of foreign island tourism mainly focus on the regional influence of island tourism,the formation and evolution of tourism destinations,tourism planning and management,sustainable tourism development and island tourism security.Compared with foreign countries,domestic research mostly focuses on island tourism resource evaluation,product development,environmental issues,regional cooperation,and planning management.The third part is the technology and data sources,which explains the development and application of visualization technology,as well as the Citespace software used in this paper,the data sources and standardization processing required for the research.The fourth part is the spatial dimension analysis of the research progress of the world island tourism.It mainly uses software such as Citespace and Google earth to make a visual analysis of the annual distribution and spatial distribution situation of the world island tourism research from the dimension of spatial and temporal distribution.The fifth part is the content hierarchical dimension analysis of the world island tourism research,which mainly analyzes the knowledge foundation,research hotspot and research front of the world island tourism research.In the sixth part,based on the analysis of the development history,current situation and trend of the above-mentioned world island tourism research,combined with the problems existing in China's island tourism,some suggestions for the development of island tourism in China are put forward.The seventh part is the conclusion,the deficiency and the prospect.Finally,it points out the limitations of the research. |
