With the rapid development of capital market,domestic commercial banks are generally facing new challenges brought by financial disintermediation and interest rate marketization.Most of the commercial banks are faced with a great challenge for survival and development due to the inherent limitations,such as technology and management concepts.Transform,improve service level and business handling efficiency are already the trend of commercial banks.Many commercial banks have realized that process reengineering is the key to improve their competitiveness and thus accelerating the project for business process reengineering.They have made efforts to establish an efficient business process system which focuses on the customers and relies on the market.Counter service is an important platform for serving the customers and also a means of setting up an excellent brand image.Therefore,how to improve the quality,efficiency and customer evaluation of counter service is an urgent task for commercial banks.Reengineering the counter business of commercial banks,clarifying its development bottleneck and potential risk points,and putting forward a targeted plan will help to improve the internal management of banks,reduce costs,and enhance the core competitiveness of banks.Based on the theoretical knowledge related to business process reengineering,this paper has chosen Tianjin Bank as a research object.After referring to numerous successful cases and implementation methods of business process reengineering both at home and abroad.This paper expounds the present situation of counter business flow in Tianjin bank from three aspects:the processing link,the authorization link and the post-event link.Through the comparison and analysis with standard enterprises-agricultural Bank.It was found that there are problems in the business process of Tianjin bank counters,such as inconsistency of business operations,high pressure of counter work,and low degree of automation.Subsequently,based on the theory of BPR,the author reconstructs the counter business process of Tianjin Bank based on the principle of customer orientation,efficiency and operability.After the analysis,the reengineered business process will be significantly improved in all aspects such as business processing efficiency and controllable risks.In a word,process reengineering of bank business is a positive and also effective means.It is worth researching the further development and improvement of process reengineering based on the current status of the commercial banks in China.This paper tries to design a business process reengineering program for Tianjin Bank,trying to make contributions to Tianjin bank in improving the efficiency of business processing,increasing customer satisfaction,and enhancing its comprehensive strength,and puts forward some of its own suggestions.At the same time,we hope to be able to provide reference for the domestic commercial bank counter business process reengineering.
