The bank counter is not only the multifunctional window for the provision of financial services to the customers but also an important platform to show good public brand image and maintain competitive advantage in the industry.As to the current development tendency of financial industry in China,it's important for banks to actively think about and study how to improve the service quality of the counter business,marketing service value and to control the cost of counter operation.Until now,there are still some financial cases caused by operational risk of counter business which happens from time to time in the most of banking offices.Hard problems of daily management,such as low efficiency of service leading to high operational cost,exist widespread and chronically and without effective solution for a long time.More terrible is that it may eventually results in the loss of management talents and the core customer groups and other risks.Therefore,banking industry should pay attention to the important issues mentioned above,accelerating the recreation of business process,and improving deficiencies as soon as possible in order to conform to the development trends.The object of this paper is the business process of bank counter and the study begins around the Postal Savings Bank of China Guangdong Branch.Postal Savings Bank of China Guangdong Branch is established formally in Guangzhou in October11 th,2007,which is the first provincial branch of Postal Savings Bank of China Guangdong Branch through the country.China Postal Savings Bank developed smoothly these years and to some degree reflected the management state of China's banking industry,and its counter business process reengineering theory is the foundation of this paper.With lots of different ways of research and combined with a large number of references,the author analyzes the business deployment of Postal Savings Bank of China Guangdong Branch,the existing problems and the causes of the business process of counter,and then puts forward the significant and operationalsuggestion to the reengineering of business process optimization,and makes rigorous project,clear steps,continuous improvement program and effective measures.The reengineering of business process of Postal Savings Bank of China Guangdong Branch is a positive innovation and bravura which responds to the transformation of banking office,besides,it also improves marketing strategy and brand influence.The reengineering of business process has high value in research and practice,meanwhile,it also accumulates precious experience for the process innovation of counter for the future bank of our country.
