Now Banks are in complex market environment and experience the intense competition in the industry. In the fierce competition, all banks are thinking about how to change to be better and getting the market trends to enhance their competitiveness. This article attempts to explore Business Process Reengineering in commercial bank with using SO A technology and gets the answer then.This article is about the bank’s business process reengineering and SOA architecture in the process. The article makes a deep analysis of BPR, SOA and the relations of them. Based on SOA architecture, we think about how to build and implement business process reengineering on bank counter and gives the business case for practical applications.The article firstly introduces the theory of the business process reengineering, process banking theory, SOA, etc. and points out that the BPR in commercial banks is in term of them, Then describes the needs of counter business process in banks, analysis and attempts to get the solutions of them. The article also uses SWOT to analysis it.Secondly above theoretical guidance, we analysis that the actual business is how to design and how to work in the SOA architecture. With a example of Commercial Paper, we in detail introduces how it works on the SOA framework and with this we gets the relations that the SOA technical architecture and processes banking theory mentioned in the previous section, the specific application of the above theory in the reengineering process in the banking counter, there is a strong practical significance.Thirdly the article introduces the support of the business system technology platform. This chapter does not exhaustive, but rather focuses on some key technical solutions are introduced. This chapter also introduces and integrated solutions of the original system.Fourthly the article describes the technical and business effectiveness of the bank using BPR and affirms the important achievement and significant effect.The last section of the article made the future of banking outlook and summary.The article based on the actual theory of the service-oriented architecture (SOA) and business process reengineering (BPR) is applied to the actual bank counter reengineering program. It has descriptions and analysis on the theory and also introduces the actual business operations, so the other commercial banks or trying to reorganize business processes using SOA enterprises can get a very obvious reference provides direction in this article.
