Rural Tourism Development In Taicang City From The Perspective Of Urban And Rural Overall Planning

With the reform and opening up into deep water areas,the problems of agriculture,rural areas,and peasants have become a constraint factor in China's economic and social development.The Party Central Committee has clearly put the “three rural issues” into a top priority of the whole party's work,and has taken the harmonious development of the society as one of the goals of building a well-off society in an all-round way.In order to realize this development goal,the Party Central Committee has put forward the important strategic decision of urban and rural overall planning.The backwardness of rural development is the key and difficult point for the overall planning of urban and rural development.Rural tourism is a form that develops based on the country's original resources.It is an important part of modern tourism and has the ability to solve surplus rural labor,improve the level of agricultural development and promote harmony and stability of rural society.Rural tourism has the characteristics of small investment and rapid income.It can significantly improve the level of rural economic and social development,and has become an important way to narrow the gap between urban and rural areas and promote the overall development of urban and rural areas.Taicang has rich rural tourism resources and a long history of folk culture.After years of development,it has become an important force for promoting economic and social development in Taicang.However,there are still many development issues that need to be solved urgently.Based on an overview of urban and rural overall planning and rural tourism theories,this paper systematically analyzes the status of rural tourism development in Taicang by SWOT analysis method,and introduces advanced experience in the development of rural tourism in France,the United Kingdom,the United States,Chengdu and Shenzhen.Combined with the development theory of “dot-axis” and “core-edge” to build the path of rural tourism development in Taicang,and put forward that to ensure the sustainable development of rural tourism in Taicang from the following six aspects of the planning and characteristics,the development and protection,Standard and innovation,modern and traditional,brand and culture,government and market,and explore the development of rural tourism in Taicang.
