The Research On The Influence Factors Of The Global Value Chain Status Of Shanxi Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Equipment manufacturing industry is the backbone of a country's industrial and economic development.Shanxi is one of the important equipment manufacturing bases in China,with technological and resource advantages.Economic globalization and Chinese economic reform have advanced the unprecedented rapid development of Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry,with an average annual increase in industrial added value reaching 15.68%.Meanwhile,the introduction of new concepts,such as "Industry 4.0" and "Made in China 2025" and the continuous updating of information technology,such as artificial intelligence and Internet of Things,have provided new impetus for the development of the global equipment manufacturing industry.However,the shortage of talents and the lack of scientific and technological innovation capacity have caused Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry to remain at a low end in the global value chain division system.Therefore,in-depth study of the factors influencing the status of Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry's global value chain,exploring the measures to promote the position of Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry in the global value chain division of labor system,and promoting its rapid transformation and upgrading,have important research significance.Domestic and foreign scholars have made many outstanding achievements in both theory and practice in the research on the global value chain and the role of industry in the division of global value chains,such as the driving mode,link,industrial upgrading,governance model,and evaluation methods of global value chains.However,Shanxi,as a less-developed area,still has insufficient research on the status of its equipment manufacturing industry in the division of global value chain and its influencing factors and promotion issues.Therefore,based on the analysis of the status quo of Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry,the paper uses the export complexity index to calculate that Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry is at a low end in the global value chain,and empirically analyzes the factors of Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry status in the division of global value chain.The paper uses the theory of global value chain division,industrial upgrading theory,and Porter's diamond model to collect and collate all related time series data of Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry,such as material capital intensity,humancapital,import and export,average profits of related companies,and financial science research.Expenses,foreign direct investment,etc.It also makes empirical analysis on various factors that affect the status of Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry's global value chain.Based on the analysis results,we will strengthen investment in talents,research and innovation and other high-level production factors,explore domestic and foreign markets,strengthen industrial agglomeration effects,optimize industrial structure,and increase government support.These measures provide an important reference for upgrading the status of Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry in the global value chain.
