Under the background of economic globalization and deepening international division of labor,R&D,production, sales and other aspects of products are deployed in various countries of the world, and the division of labor system of global value chain has attracted more and more attention. The different division of labor status of global value chain determines a country's gains and losses in trade.According to the theory of global value chain, different parts of the global value chain have different added value.Smile curve can describe the position of industries around the world when they participate in the division of global value chain.Countries with higher division of labor have higher value-added links, such as R&D,design and brand marketing.Countries with lower division of labor can only produce assembly and processing with lower attachment. The link of value added.High-tech manufacturing industry has the characteristics of high technology content and high added value. It is the embodiment of a country's technological level and innovation ability.High-tech manufacturing industry is a typical industry in which R&D,production, sales and other links can be transnational production. At present,China's high-tech manufacturing industry is mainly embedded in the global value chain system with processing trade production as the main factor, and hopes to achieve the rise of the value chain, accurately measure the position of China's high-tech manufacturing industry and subdividing industries in the global value chain division of labor, and explore the factors affecting the division of labor status, which has an important guiding role in promoting the division of labor status of China's high-tech manufacturing industry in the global value chain. Therefore, firstly, the paper combs the domestic and foreign literature and related concepts and theoretical methods;secondly,it analyses the development status of China's high-tech manufacturing industry in general and in sub-sectors,and calculates the member countries of G20 Group(including China)by using the export data of five-digit high-tech manufacturing products of SITC(Rev3.0)in UNCOMTRAD database and the data of per capita GDP of the World Bank(unchanged US dollars in 2010).The exports sophistication of high-tech manufacturing industry as a whole and subdividing industries is used to measure its division of labor status. It is found that there are problems in China's high-tech manufacturing industry as a whole, such as weak independent R&D capability, low added value of products, mainly processing trade, excessive dependence on foreign-funded enterprises, and low-end division of labor in global value chain, while the division of labor in subdividing industries of China's high-tech manufacturing industry is at the low end of the division of labor There is heterogeneity between the locations;then, the dissemination mechanism of the influencing factors of the division of labor status in the global value chain of high-tech manufacturing industry is analyzed from two aspects of technology and factor endowment.Five factors,R&D investment, human capital, foreign direct investment, import of intermediate goods and capital intensity, are selected to influence the division of labor status in the global value chain of China's high-tech manufacturing industry as a whole and in its sub-sectors respectively. The results of regression analysis show that, from the perspective of high-tech manufacturing industry as a whole, import of intermediate goods,R&D investment and capital intensity have significant positive effects on it,FDI has significant negative effects, human capital has no significant impact, but the above factors have significant differences between the overall and the sub-sectors;finally,the heterogeneity of sub-sectors is fully considered.Next, some suggestions are put forward to improve the division of labor in the global value chain of high-tech manufacturing industry.
