Under the background of innovation-driven development,it's of great practical significance to promote the spatial agglomeration of economic activities and innovation elements more effectively and build the Economic innovation transformation development zone or regional innovation growth pole in order to realize the sharing of cooperation and innovation activities and implement the concept of innovation,coordination and sharing.To promote the construction of regi onal innovation system,we must pay attention to the essence of the spatial interaction of innovation,and put emphasis on the innovation relation and interaction between regions.At present,it is important to find out how to further optimize the spatial linkage network structure of regional innovation.This paper reviews and combs domestic and foreign research achievements,further clarifying the connotation of spatial linkage network of regional innovation,pointing out its diversity,resource-fluidity,self-organization,dynamic,openness and winning,and analyzes its role in promoting knowledge flow and diffusion,optimizing allocation of resources and promoting technological progress.The theory of knowledge spillover,spatial interaction theory,regi onal innovation system theory and social network theory are expounded.This paper introduces the forming mechanism,including the mechanism of knowledge overflow appearance,market-driving mechanism and government-promotion mechanism,and analyzes the evolvement mechanism from the aspects of endogenous force and market mechanism,external driving force and cooperation mechanism,coupling force and networking mechanism.The empirical research steps are: firstly,the traditional gravitational model is modified based on the bidirectional and misalignment of the interregional innovation relation and the comprehensive evaluation of regional innovation output.Then the paper calculates the innovation relation strength of 31 provinces and c ities in China in the 2000-2015.Finally,the density,the center degree and the condensed subgroup of the spatial correlation network of regional innovation in China are discussed based on the social network analysis method.Studies have shown that: The whole network density is still low because of sparse linkage in Western China.“Multi-centers driven” network are gradually forming but unstable,the leadership subgroup,the bridge subgroup,the only-profits subgroup and the isolation subgroup are taking shape;Remarkable cascade differences are presented in the three major areas,centers gather in eastern and central regions,the western region lack of center,Shaanxi and Sichuan has the potential to become the western region's innovative growth poles.Finally,on the basis of analyzing the problems existing in spatial and temporal evolution of regional Innovation Space Association Network,the paper puts forward some suggestions to optimize the spatial association network structure of Regional innovation in China.
